  2. We plan to visit NYC in October, and that will be our first time. I really appreciate your videos and find them very helpful. We'll try streetfood, like you suggested, but would love to taste the best NY bagels (because we've been told not to miss it). Do you have any recommendations, if we eat glutenfree and organic? Can we get that kind somewhere in or around Central Park?

  3. I'll be the tour guide for the hoods of NYC. That's where the real fun is at! Can't just stay downtown. Gotta come uptown too to spots like the Apollo on 125th and other spots in upper Manhattan where the food is good. Pizza is good but you gotta get a chopped cheese from a Bodega! You gotta experience walking through the projects and just taking a seat on the benches. You wanna experience the real NYC you gotta get outta the bright lights sometimes and go where it's a lil gritty!

  4. Watched the video AFTER our NY-trip 😂, but it seems that we did it not too bad during our 9 days 😊. I absolutely agree to what you say about the Tenement museum. What an unexpected jewel, we had such a great guided tour there and it was amazing to hear and see so much immigration history in such a personal way. At the end of the tour it was almost as if we knew the family we followed listening to their Story told by the excellent guide ❤

  5. I just found this and wanted to view it since I'm in NYC a lot, and wondered if I am missing something. I must say that I go to the 9/11 memorial, but I have never been in the museum. That day was so horrific and embedded in my psyche that I don't think I could emotionally handle the museum. Maybe someday I'll be able to settle myself from the horror and do so. Thanks for your video.
