As someone who lives in New York City, just want you guys to know that if half the world ever goes missing, then no, there has not been a zombie apocalypse. Just check the pop up bagels line. They’ll all be there like they always are. 🤷♀️

7th St Burger is cheaper and delicious. Luger's isn't the best steak and definitely the sides aren't great. I've had better steak and sides at Gallagher's – better service too and less hassle to get to from Manhattan. Pick a Bagel is a good bagel with a less drama and lines. Or even Kossar's for a bagel–no hour lines. Parm is quite good for basic italian. Levain is excellent as is Gentiles. But there is a great Gelato and ice everywhere in NYC.

Even the hive-minded have long-since given up on Peter Luger, which is a disgusting shell of its former self and a waste of money in the sense that you’re handing over high-end prices to people who have long-since given up even trying to provide a decent, much less a great product.
