You must pay homage to the great PED XING 😂good stuff
no need to tip at in-n-out!! If I gotta stand in line, pay before I even get my food/drink, get up to grab it myself, or I’m not actually being waited on… I’m probably not tipping. Unless I know them personally or I really really really really like them for some reason
Did you go to Santa Monica and Venice.
You guys should’ve picked a car that is very LA like a G wagon or Range Rover maybe a Maserati
17:50 – You cofuse tamale and tortilla chips. . . And 'hot tamale' as an explanation
best moment in LA : take a smoothie and burger
Havent been to Hollywood blvd since a bit b4 pandemic. Totally shocked (SHOCKED) the city allowed vendors to clog up the Hollywood fame walk area. It's like some slum alley now 😢.
Also while the opposite side is called Rodeo 🐎😂, the fancy stores side is RoDAY-Oh (pronounced). 😊
Welcome to Cali!!❤
HAHA You don't tip at drive thru.
I was born in raised in Burbank, CA, a L.A. suburb. California is a huge state. I have lived in So. Cal, No. Cal & Central Cal. Now back home to Burbank. I am so enjoying your videos. It reminds me of all the things we take for granted here, the good & the bad. One thing that is so unique about LA, is the proximity of different terrain & weather. Here, you can go surfing at the beach, snow skiing in the mountains, & off-roading in the dessert, all in the same day, if you plan it right. And , yes, crazy drivers & too much traffic have become a real issue over the years. Always drive defensively when you’re out & about here!
$20 smoothies. Oh my words.
like the song says Nobody Walks in LA
Rodeo (ro-DAY-oh) Drive is in Beverly Hills, so very, very posh. It's where those Julia Roberts shopping scenes were filmed in Pretty Woman.
There is an older song called Walking in LA… and it says "nobody walks in LA" haha
If it's small Dogs you want to see, then you must go to West Hollywood.
As someone else said LA county is 4k sq. Miles. Its almost hard to wrap your head around how massive that is. So you basically got a tiny sample of it. The more you explore it the more it will blow you away. Yes the traffic is terrible and the homeless problem never seems to go away, but those problems are dwarfed by the massive amount to see and do in LA.
I cracked about the Simpsons newspaper reference. I grew up in LA in the 70's. The paperboy was alive and well back then. Long live the Herald Examiner. Which featured Matt Greoning's early version of the Simpsons, life in hell.
With all this Man Vs Woman going on in the world it’s great to see such a jovial young couple thriving! Maybe love is real
I’m from San Diego but LA is my absolute favorite city on earth. It will always have a piece of my heart. It has a soul that is palpable and I miss it.
Pedxing is chinese, ( lol) also i thought its chinese.
Let me explain It's not pronounced Rodeo Drive its pronounced Ro-day- o Drive.
9:38 Fairfax High School isn't what you're picturing lol, it's a pretty ghetto high school, not the worst but far from the best. 14:08 Also, that smoothie status symbol poster is an advert from Jamba Juice lol 27:00 this is NOT LA, most locals avoid Rodeo drive like the plague.
You mispronounce Rodeo Drive… It doesn't sound like a Texas rodeo.,
Its pronounced row-day-oh drive
awe I loved your video 🙂 Loved the way you covered it and ur personality.
Only tip if you sit down in a restaurant and take an order from a waiter. You also tip a valet parking person and a hotel maid (a few bucks when you check out), that’s really it! Don’t tip in any fast food place, drive thru, etc. anytime an ipad or cardreader is held up to you, hit “no tip”. Tipping culture is out of control and the employees in these places know it. Most of the time, the tips are pooled up and distributed, so they don’t have any expectation of receiving your tip.
"Nobody walks in L.A." – Missing Persons
Santa Monica is nice too. Try that sometime. And Malibu too.
Rodeo Drive. Pronounced Ro DAY O. Now you're a proper Angeleno. Lol
Next time try Pink's Hot Dogs. Its an iconic place to get hot dogs in LA. 709 N La Brea Ave.
Theres a song called Walking in LA by Missing Persons. Have a listen
Nobody walks in LA. Its not a walking city like NYC. Too spread out.
What country are you from?
I just found your channel, and it's refreshing to see a travelers perspective. Ped Xing…..😂
I've only seen a few videos, so I'm hoping to see a trip to Orange County.
When i saw my first yello school bus I was just like you and the newspaper😂, im stying in L.A just over the coner drom this Erwhon😂
LA is a mixture of different communities which is amazing. That’s why when you walk around you go in between though communities where there’s nothing and nobody around.
I love Waymo’s. They are cheaper than Uber/Lyft
The areas that you don’t want to walk around are some areas of downtown. The area you guys were in (Hollywoodish) is totally safe.
I live and love LA! Welcome!
Whoever told you Miami isn’t technically not the US is full is BS.
RO- DAY-OH drive
Umm no those house styles are specific to Miami and LA and not the rest of the US
Those jets by the innout are much closer in person.
Fourth video watching you guys – you guys are fun – you guys hardly have an accent – it's as if you've lived here in US for a few years – nice vids, keep up the good work, and welcome here.
Did you really miss seeing the Pacific Ocean?
Los Angeles, like all of California, was at its peak in the 1950's-1960's. Fantastic weather year-round, lots of jobs, high-quality modern infrastructure, great schools, a high standard of living, and easy access to the beautiful Californian Coast. It's the California the Beach Boys sang about. Since the Left took over California in the 1970's, they've done to it what they did to the UK and Sweden. Utterly destroyed all that made it wonderful.
It's no longer clean, no longer completely safe; they've driven out all the successful businesses with absurd levels of taxation, so good jobs are really hard to get. It's also gotten absurdly corrupt (all successful entities attract parasites), so theta, even with a ridiculously high level of taxation, the government accomplishes nothing of value anymore. All the money simply disappears, and those who try to investigate or account for it are punished. So sad. It was almost a paradise once. The Left has completely ruined that once amazing place.
