A full 5 days in San Diego!
Don’t forget to like and subscribe! 😀
Belmont Park
Offers fun rides, games, attractions, food and shopping. Each ride/attraction cost about $8- $14 per person. Buy the 70 ticket package ($60) to make that price a bit better per person.
Evenings are fun with the lights, but beware there CAN be pick pocketers on busy nights. Watch your surroundings. It’s safe, just people watch. If you buy your tickets online in advance, you can get $20 off a park pass.
The kids loved sky rope and mini golf. Not the biggest fans of the wooden roller coaster. (lol)
Also an AMAZING indoor pool with huge float that kids can run around on. (Not filmed because we wouldn’t film kids in suits, obviously.) But the kids LOVED that. $15 per kid for 90 minutes. Lots of room to lounge and relax while the kids play/swim.
The beach is directly behind it and parking is free and plentiful!
Legoland!
There’s two parks connected. Water park which we didn’t do this trip but we’ve heard good things. One day/ One Park tickets are $90-$120 per person. One day/Two park is $120-$150 per person.
T-mobile has deals on tickets sometimes, double check to see where else you can find discounts at the time you’re wanting to go. Parking was $30.
USS Midway
Entertaining and great learning experience. The kids loved this more than we actually thought. The videos and exhibits keep it interesting and the volunteers are all around the ships to answer questions. Plan for at least 3-4 hours. Parking nearby average $15-$25. Tickets are $21 for ages 12 and under and 13 and over are $31.
In walking distance is a yummy gelato place and a ton of food trucks. Fun to get after 🙂
San Diego Safari Zoo!
Full day! This was INCREDIBLE. Ticket prices are about $60 for kids and $70 for adults. There are bigger packages and attractions you can pay more to do, like zipline and be closer to the animals on a safari style truck. We loved the 25 minute free trolly ride around. A thought we had was a full safari car experience may be too long for kids who aren’t super interested or too young- just something to keep in mind. Discount tickets can be found randomly. Check your cell phone providers listed discounts. 🙂
La Jolla Cove
Beautiful place to end the day after Legoland and see the seals and grab some dinner (if you want to be at a nicer/more expensive place.) Parking can be semi tricky sometimes. Might need to park a few blocks away, which is worth it.
