To me the best buy in DC is the Hotel Harrington downtown… at 10th & E Streets, NW, a short walk from the White House, Ford's Theater, and all subway lines. It's old & a little funky but it has a lot of international tourists and everything you need is right there. I love Harry's Restaurant on the first floor. Harriet's Restaurant also on the first floor has a good breakfast. All kinds of cafes and coffee shops are within a block. They have the lowest prices downtown and the convenience can't be beat.
I love Crystal City and staying in hotels near DCA. The close proximity to METRORAIL seals the deal for me. Thanks for sharing! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
What hotel do you recommend close to American Univ in DC?
great video as always is logan circle downtown or you just didn't recommend it .
Very helpful
Is everything in downtown within walking distance? No more than 3-4miles
I will be in Washington D.C. in March 2023 for a funeral at Arlington cemetery. Where to stay? Tips
Thank you for this video. It's really helpful. 💖
What is best area for older people in their late 60s? They need to be close to the mall and restaurants. I need to cut down on walking as much as possible.
U da man Rob!!
Be careful
Nopeales don't fight 🌵
I'm from New Orleans i stay in Arlington Virginia I love it..got a goverment job at METRO
Do u hav availability for private tour on April 14 afternoon? Closer to evening? Love your videos!!!!
I’m there next month; staying at Courtyard by Marriott Downtown/Conv. Center

What hotel would you recommend if I wanted to be close to American University?
Rob, u have a great channel, lots of info, I watched a bunch of yor videos b4 my trip to DC this past week. I stayed at the Yotel on New Jersey ave. My son and I loved it. Nice clean fun place to stay, it has an underground parking garage, Restraunt, pool ect. We did some sightseeing and saw a Nats game. It was our first time in DC. Can’t wait to go back when hopefully things open back up and we can’t get the full DC experience. Keep up the good work man!
The AC hotel 🏨 👌
Wow I love in DC and I will take a Staycation in my own city. It’s that good and there is so much to see and do. So Much more when I was younger.
Anyone ever stay at the Residence Inn by Marriott Washington Capitol Hill/Navy Yard?
I have the option of staying at the Residence Downton, Capitol or Convention Center. All money being equal, where would you stay? We would like to do the main tourist attractions at the National Mall. Have a 4 year old with us and 2 adults. We prefer to eat at casual restaurants and avoid sit down places or fancy restaurants. We don't mind using public transportation or walking
Best thing to do is to stay in Pentagon City or go up the hill to Arlington VA! From Arlington go across the Key Bridge to Georgetown and the make your way down to the Mall and the Smithsonian Museums!!! Make sure you ride the DC Tours bus and get a bird's eye view of the city !!! DC has its tourist spots all over town but this beautiful city has several neighborhoods with a style and feel all of their own. You wont Experience scammers as you move farther away from the tourist spots. If it doesn't feel right stop talking to the scammer and they will move on. Enjoy your time, go to the Wharf and go to the National Press Club , and go up embassy row, also Adam's Morgan!!!
I’ve been to Washington DC in March of this year! I like to stay at the JW Marriott. It’s probably obvious of why I stayed there.
US flag is always displayed on the left.
im renting a car for the trip, are there places to park at each location?
Honestly even though there are barely any hotels i really like the tenleytown area.
Just subscribed to your channel. The last two times I was in DC were when I was still single and traveled with a friend to see some Phillies-Nationals games at Nationals Park. We took the Amtrak Northeast Regional from Philadelphia, stayed at the Comfort Inn in College Park , MD, and took the Metro to the games.
Do you have any experience or reviews for the “cherry Hill park” campground ?
How is the Silver Spring area in Washington DC?
