These are my top things to do in Chinatown, Chicago Illinois in 2021! In this vlog and guide, we cover things like Chinatown Food, Chinese Architecture, Parks, Shops, Boba Tea, Shaved Ice, Karaoke, and much more!
Chinatown is a relatively small neighborhood that I mentally split up into three areas: Wenthworth Ave., Chinatown Square, and the Ping Tom Memorial Park. It is a short train ride from downtown, and you can even take the water taxi to this area. Let me know your thoughts on this list in the comments below!

Is it safe to stay around that area? Like booking a hotel for the weekend
Thanks for the hints!
Thank you
Great video!
Is there any special parking 🅿️ somewhere or can we just park anywhere and walk around ?
I hate finding parking in Chinatown. Especially on the weekends.
Is it easy to pick up Chinese girls in China town?
bro recommended a veggie restaurant first…
Oh no man, those are the 3 worst restaurant recommendations. Only Richland was good.
I miss Chinatown and Chicago. I'm having withdrawals.
Tu deh zheure
❤❤ Thank you for your video going to Chicago next month so this handy 🎉🎉. This was excellent
I've only been there one time. Been to Chicago several times, though I live in Indiana. My 6th grade teacher took the class to Chicago, and Chinatown. This video shows it's a lot different today than it was in 1971 when I was there.
Best things to do in Chicago Chinatown:
Japanese candy store
French bakery
Japanese sushi
Vietnamese restaurant
😂
Hi and thank you so much for your video! My husband and I went to Chinatown, went to all the places from your list and had a really good time! Thank you for sharing)
Is there a place in Chicago where I can purchase a Tang Dynasty sword? I am doing a photoshoot with a clothing style from the Tang Dynasty. I already have most of the clothing. But I need an authentic reproduction sword from the Tang Dynasty time period. Thank you very much.
Great video! Are you from Chicago? I’m looking at moving there with a great job offer. The crime stats you see all over tv make me nervous. I’m assuming most crime is in gang areas like most cities?
I miss Chinatown Chicago
When I move one day maybe I could live in Chicago Chinatown now looking at this video.❤
I live outside (northwest) of the city and I would love to go back there soon, because I enjoy the food and souvenir shops. For my birthday as a gift, my mom bought me a battery-operated golden cat statue that waves. Very cute. I've only been to one restaurant in Chinatown and I think it's out of business and that's Won Kow.
I'm also amazed just how inexpensive merchandise is over there, considering it's in Chicago and they're imported.
Thought I would see Chinatown… instead half of your video is showing your face. Thanks.
No museums, no monuments, no ruins… only fast food 🥘 fast food 🥘 and fast food . I know now why all Americans are fat big asses 😂😂😂
Thank you for respecting Chinese culture.. Thank the blogger and everyone
Top things to do in Chinatown #1 don't get robbed at gun point, thank you Mayor for your outstanding work in keeping us safe! More violent crimes than ever. No thanks, old man got shot and killed going to get food for his wife this summer and rampant armed robberies. Stay long enough and we'll give you a free toe tag
not that big of a deal
Hi how many time do you spent just walk around all china town? Thank you!
It's not all that good. I was there the thing about it. The whole Chinatown itself has no public restrooms. Even the restaurants don't allow you to use their bathroom and your freaking dining in.🤯🤯
