  1. Shedd Aquarium and renting bikes and riding on the bike paths along Lake Michigan were our favorites. We also loved the Starbucks Roastery:-). Cubs game was amazing and they won!!! What a beautiful city. Oh, also loved the architecture cruise.

  2. These videos about want to see in Chicago always leave out it's most iimpressive building and talk about pizza when they should be focusing on the regal interior of the Elks Memorial which looks like it was commissioned by Louis the 14th with the exterior with its rotunda being modeled after the Pantheon in Rome. It's Great Hall will knock your socks off!

  3. Just what a great overview of things to do in Chicago! I’ve been there many times since I have a lot of family and friends there. I definitely agree with your recommendation for the architectural boat tour. I’ve taken it three times— twice on my own and once on a business trip. Definitely going to try one of the rooftop bars and restaurants you recommended next time I go there.

  4. Thank you for venturing outside of the loop! My advice to tourists is, depending on how long the visit is, staying downtown may be good enough. But if the visit is more than a few days, definitely explore other neighborhoods and communities!

  5. Terrific video. The building shown at 14:20 is the tallest building on earth that was designed by a woman (St. Regis Chicago.) Funny, I had never heard of the Garfield Park Conservatory before; guess I will visit Chicago again. Also, the Riverwalk is marvelous. It is like being in the bottom of a canyon, as the skyscrapers almost form walls on both sides of the river. It is interesting seeing kayaks paddle next to skyscrapers that are 1350 feet tall; quite a contrast. The Starbucks shown at 11:55 is the largest Starbucks on the planet. Lastly, only two cities in the world have at least 3 skyscrapers that each have at least 100 floors: Chicago & Dubai. None in China. Visit Chicago soon!
