  1. Ok, ya didn't hit up your Rochester native bruv yet bit i'm gonna give you a super hit on your list. Gotta go a bit south to Chula Vista. It's tucked in a very industririal blie collar area. 'El Prieto Mariscos and Birria'. The Berea Taco I had melted in your mouth and the consummate was magical. The star of the show is the ceviche and Mariscos. About 6 bucks for i'd say a pint each. I had one shrimp and one fish and one Berea taco and could only finish the taco and half of the fish ceviche. They give you the tostadas separately so they don't get all soggy. Super pro unbelievable I got three things and I was out of there for 15 bucks. It's been there since 1998 I met a guy there that said he's been going there since he was 11. Super special experience while I'm enjoying Imperial Beach here.

  2. I was lucky enough to be staying in PB for 10 days, so I tried Oscars and Casanova. Both great, but Oscars was at Happy Hour, so skimpy. Casanova is in another league. I actually liked the sweet ginger better than the Baja. These are messy, messy tacos due to them being LOADED with succulent fish. I also tried to go to Kikos, but sadly they were closed. I think a car drive into the building.

  3. I HATE YOU GLOLOLTHANK YOU G ALL THESE YEARS I'VE GROWN UP HERE AND SHE NEVER GETS BORING😁🥰😀😋😋😋😋😋🩷🩷🩷YOU &HER💖SD💖🎉🎉🎉🎉🌞🌴🏄💦

  4. I hit el pueblo for their fish tacos all the time. My wife loves their carne e burrito which blows the budget, it's like fricken 13 bills while my 4 fish tacos come in under $5 bills. A couple years ago they were .99 cents. Inflation. Go figure. Actually their is one within walking distance on RSF and La Costa ave. Peace, out.

  5. Mira Mesa has great Filipino food. Take out as well as supermarkets. Also, flour NOT corn tortillas for fish tacos. I wish Fins was still in business, they were great! Olga's Lumpia in Linda Vista has the best it the city! My Filipino students brought lumpia to school parties and they were addictive.

  6. Halibut are not bottom feeders in the way you are thinking. Typical bottom feeders are scavangers that feed on anything such as decaying fish. Halibut are ambush predators that eat fish like cod, swimming by above them.

  7. I lived in Cardiff for a little. Was oblivious to the fact that Seaside Market had such good food. My favorite spot in Cardiff you can see from the Parking Lot! Pipes Cafe's breakfast is a missile

  8. California burritos are overrated and should be not be prioritized over carne asada fries in recommendations to people visiting san diego. You are paying just as much for the California burrito as you would a full carne asada burrito except the cali burrito is mostly full of filler and less meat. You are paying more to get less. Better to get a regular carne asada with fries on the side or just get a plate of carne asada fries. Plus the fries get soggy real quick in burritos. You guys all got gaslit into thinking burritos with filler are better than burritos with all meat just so the taco shops and chipotles can make a bigger profit.

  9. Awe Man, FredCell, the Best! ( Hi Rick and Family!) For many years I, Marie, always ordered Fred Cells Lunpias for Potlucks and I they were a hit and gone and eaten within minutes !

  10. Saffron is an iconic spot. My favorite place for thai style chicken. Try it with the sweet pepper sauce. I’ve been going here since around 1990. Pt. Loma seafood use to be my other favorite spot. Too touristy now and over priced.

  11. Mexican way in corn 🌽 tortillas I prefer. Plus, I would taste the authentic Mexican corn with their butter 🧈 & seasonings 🤤

Glad the Filipino 🇵🇭 cuisine made it to your iconic list❣️👌🏻🎉🥳

  12. $1.29 per taco in California how is that even possible? I’m in Minnesota tacos are three dollars and it doesn’t matter. What kind of meat is in there some cheap ass hamburger that’s crazy good pricing holy shit you go San Diego.

  13. La Perla made the list. Nice. I remember when it was Hector's. Loved that spot. Also you gotta try the clam chowder from PL seafood. It's insane.

  14. Bookmarking Cardiff Seaside Market to explore and Filipino noshes at FredCels. Best place for seafood in any city is the always the seafood markets by the docks. I'm new to San Diego, so loving all your eating adventures!
