  1. It is shame I fallowed u on YouTube for recommendation. It was worst thing to do.i booked nowaday vintage car and they didn't turn up. Worst thing they laughed when I called customer care. Worst scam of NY. Which u promoted as must do in ny

  2. I did AMNH, ESB, OWO,Summit,SL, Harbor Lights, 9/11, CP Zoo, Museum of Illusions, stayed in FiDi by the Bull. GC, Lion King, Time Square and popped out of subway right behind Times Square Elmo and Hulk, ate at the 3 story McDonald’s, saw a fight in the subway, took the ER ferry to dumbo and ate ice cream walking across the BB, also went to MSG/Monyihan Station to take an Amtrak to Philly to fly back to San Antonio all stuff my kids had not done…also stopped at Columbus Circle for some Banana Pudding and went to Bleecker St Pizza..thank you this channel helped us have a wonderful time..and great trip for my family…it was amazing.

  3. Interesting vids for me, also new information from a local. I spent 1st week in dec. 2023 my first time in NYC and my impressions were a "yes" & a "no".
My friends asked me after arriving back to Germany how it was. But – i could not say definetely a clear 100% answer.
I guess i have to visit NYC a 2nd time and then i will explore the non touristic parts of big apple, to feel the right pulse of NYC.

  4. I live in the UK. Just got back from NYC and loved it! Happy to say I did pretty much all the things mentioned in this video, except the guided bike tour. If I had known about, I would have definitely done that, looks like a lot of fun!

  5. I love Coney Island. Go to the beach, then get a hot dog from the original Nathan's Hot Dog's. I also like Rockefeller Center, there's a rink and plenty of places to sit. As well as FAO Swartz if you have kids who want toys. Definitely catch a baseball game. I recommend a night game in Septmeber, not to hot or humid. Last game I went to I was Aaron Judge hit his 60th homerun and Giancarlo Stanton hit a walkoff grand slam to cap a Yankees 9-8 comeback win. AMAZING. Gonna be hard to top that sporting event.

  6. Been thinking of visiting NYC but dont know where to start or what to see so this video definitely came right on time and handy. I love architectural so the narrative boat ride definitely on my list and some of those skyline views, and the statue of liberty tour.

  7. For "the City that Never Sleeps" it seems like a lot of stuff opens on the late side. So many of the highly rated museums don't unlock their doors until about 11am, which can be a little frustrating for a tourist who wants to make the best use of their time. I'm thinking of visiting the Guggenheim on my upcoming March trip, but planning that day is made more difficult by their 11am open time. If they opened just one hour earlier it would be easy to have an 8am breakfast, stroll Central Park a little, show up at their door at 10am, spend 3 hours there, getting decent value for my ticket, and then leave at 1pm for lunch somewhere nearby in the UES. This would then leave plenty of time to also do other things that day in the city.
As it is, an 11am open makes my morning too long and reduces the value of my ticket if I plan on being hungry at lunch time. Are they trying to make me eat in their cafe?
Maybe I'm missing an obvious solution to my problem that doesn't involve just giving the Guggenheim a pass?

  8. I've been feeling nostalgic about my time growing up in NY in the 2000s. I know I was a teenager but I took the city for granted. I'm catching up with all videos and motivating myself to visit this year

  9. NY its not worth it anymore to spend your money here guys
The city its dirty, crime rate went high, thieves, mentally ill people ( i mean people with serious mental issues ) all over, high prices for regular coffee / bakery , restaurants waaay to expensive, take the train you mighy end up in the hospital due to scumbags ghetto all over
Save your money and visit a civilized city

  10. Great videos.. a fantastic help to our trip to.NYC keep it up. Caught the ferry from East 34th st to Dumbo brooklyn $4 each great views and a better bridge view walk back into manhattan. Many thanks. Dino

  12. Can confirm that SUMMIT One Vanderbilt is incredible. We got engaged on the top floor terrace and everything about it was magical. As much an inward experience as an outward one. ❤

  13. I've been in the empire State building and it is awesome. However when they remodeled it, they took out the old floor indicators above the elevators. That's kind of disappointing because I like seeing old stuff like that especially old elevator indicators above the elevators.

  14. Before 911 the world trade centre always took my breath away but for me the empire state building never disappoints no matter how many times I see it, the view of lower Manhattan from the middle of the Manhattan bridge also one of my favourites

  15. Leaving NYC for the Finger Lakes was the best thing I ever did. 25 acres of land with mountain views in my backyard. 100 wineries and breweries within 20 miles. Thousands of acres of state land of hiking. Letchworth State Park 20 miles away. The #1 state park in the USA. A no brainer.

  16. Jon, I know you’re a Yankees fan and I loved the tour of Yankee Stadium but you’ve got to include Madison Square Garden. The tour of the Garden is awesome and then to go and watch a Rangers or Knicks game there is iconic. You’ve said before that tickets at the Garden are expensive, which is true but for tourists the Garden is a once in a lifetime experience and keeps me coming back to NYC to see the Rangers

  17. It should be mentioned that the Intrepid is free for Active Military, Veterans, and Retired Military (and they check ID so no stolen valour lol)
I need to make another visit to the Met. And I need to do the old timey car ride!

  18. I highly recommend the Statue of Liberty, but please buy your authentic ticket from Castle Clinton in the middle of Battery Park and not a fake ticket from the tricksters and fraudsters in and near the park who sell tickets that cost double and don't even go to the island.
