This was a great video, and as a lifelong New Yorker, I have not been to many of these locations. Oddly enough, I don't think there is a street in Manhattan I haven't been to as I was a foot messenger on and off for at least five years, maybe more. I worked when I went to college because I had morning classes and worked from 11am to 7pm; when I went to get my RMA-A which was five hours a day for about five semesters, my jobs always were flexible. Macaulay's family lived on the West Side, and one of my employers had a lot of casting companies, and we constantly delivered scripts and anything related to that. His brothers were still too young to move out, and they were always there, sometimes answering the door. They had a young woman who had the same eyes (or I believed so), but I could never find out who she was.
There are so many private like neighborhoods that have zero pedestrian foot traffic I was sent to, and this was between 2000 and 2007; I wonder if they are still like that. Some were so well hidden, and you would never expect to go through a gate down by tribeca, down an alley to an open courtyard that was manicured so exquisitely like Mr. Miyagi's yard in the Karate Kid.
I was only allowed one time to the Dakota where John Lennon lived that the video shows Strawberry Fields, and the Dakota and it was to deliver something and I was let up this service elevator that opened to a small kitchen that I think was the servants quarters. I believe the house keepper signed for it. Weird set up. L. Bacall must have been in her 80s at the time.
I must go to Central Park and do the tourist thing as New Yorkers are wont to do on occasion.
I missed Central Park during my NYC visit… Thanks for the detour 🎉🎉
Do you need to pay to enter the park?
The future Belleville Park
Sexual orientation is a personal matter. It is not a choice, but a reflection of who a person is
🤍everything but the zoo, no animals should be held captive! 🤍
big take away here was that my man can afford a greece vacation on a hotdog salary. Truly living the dream.
Now I can’t think about Central Park without imagining that people burst into spontaneous song and dance. Thanks, TV Tropes.
The movie Godspell used many of those iconic locations. A must see if you want to see 1970s New York. ❤
lembrei de um filme do smurfs q foi filmado nesse castelo, que nostalgia….
Go vegan man, you don't have to endorse animal exploitation (animal based hotdogs). I know it's a mindset shift, but just think about it.
wow it is exciting
What is the best month of the year to come and see NY? I like nice weather, with sun…
Hey dude enjoy your moments. You're living my dreams but I'm sure that I will have the same feeling as you.
Gentle tone, tidy structure, and quick micro-checks—very learner-friendly overall I’m making short listening snippets too and would love any suggestions you’re willing to share.
Pretty sure Europeans like to visit New York cause of Central park
Sucks that ive been known to have lupus since October and i think i may also have Celiac Disease, 2 autoimmune disorders. I can no longer have gluten. It completely destroys my stomach and i cant digest gluten at all. It sucks that i can no longer enjoy just any old food. The lupus makes me develop skin lesions and the celiac disease destroys my stomach all from eating gluten. Gluten is what causes my face rash too. Crazy. Took me years to find that out. Doctors kept telling me i was allergic to my safety glasses at work. It was a dermatologist who finally confirmed i had lupus and they had to cut a chunk of my face out (skin biopsy) just to tell me that.
I didn’t know that Bow bridge is famous for engagement. My son did so and they are working as residence in Baltimore.
YouTubers just love misusing the word "castle". 🙄
