Well done. For Alcatrax, remember you'll need to book several weeks in advance during the high season, so do so before you get to the city. There are special tours with guides that take small groups of people to places most tourists don't see. After the prison, don't miss the gardens on the side facing the Golden Gate, they are really lovely and the views are amazing. You'll also need to book a time to visit and park at Muir Woods. Visiting Sausilito by catching a ferry from the ferry building is well worth it, especially if you don't visit Alcastraz. You'll get a chance to get out on the Bay and see both bridges and the city skyline. When you get to Sausalito, grab a sandwich and have lunch sitting near the sea lion statue along the shore. If the tide is really high, all you'll see is his nose! — Now the bad and sad. If you drive into the city, head straight to your hotel and get your luggage out. Leave nothing in your car! Thieves come from across the Bay Area to break into your car! The infamous tent camps and open air drug dealing are mostly in the Tenderloin, which you should simply avoid. There's really nothing there to see anyway. Homelessness is more visible in SF because we are such a small place. Unlike more sprawling American cities there are simply not as many places for the homeless to hid out of site.
Hi, how many days you need to see all attractions
How did you get the drone shots?
I thought most of San Francisco was in a no fly zone?
I’m off there 12th September and would love to fly my dji mini 3 249g drone
I love this video! Thanks for sharing!!
How much time will take cross the bridge on bike? (average)
Welcome to San Francisco City, City by the Bay! Feel free to explore our city. And, don't forget how poignant we are around the fine arts.
If I could visit San Francisco, the first place
I would go to would be Haight Ashbury!
This is because many hippies used to live
there during the 60s.
You have covered quite a lot nice points
I was there a few days back https://www.youtube.com/shorts/JDYMfChrEuI
Love the whole family’s energy !! Great Video 👏👏
this is bringing back so many memories for me. its been 4 months since i was there
Such an awesome trip
It’s about time someone said something positive about San Francisco
I'm going to guess that David is a Capricorn and Alicia is a Leo.
A+ for using a Matt Nathanson song!
…lovely video. this is a great reference if i ever get the chance to see it.
THE DEEP STATE IS GOING TO DO 911 AGAIN , TO GET US INTO ANOTHER WAR,,,,,,THIS TIME THEY ARE GOING TO DEMOLISH THE MILLENIUM TOWER IN SAN FRANCISCO
BECAUSE ITS TILTING AND ITS NOT ABLE TO GET STRAIGHT AGAIN SO THEY ARE GOING TO DEMOLISH IT. THEY WILL SAY SOME COUNTRY DID IT AND WILL USE IT AS AN EXCUSE TO GO TO WAR. THE NEW 9-11 WE GOT 2 MORE DAYS LETS SEE WHAT HAPPENS !!! OR IT COULD HAPPEN ON ANOTHER DATE.
I keep seeing all kinds of videos with homeless people and needles everywhere? Did you experience that as well?
Love this. I'm going soon with my husband for a surgery he's having but we will be taking time out to visit some sights before hand
I used to work on Pier 39. In 1999. Was beautiful. Think, I will keep my memories…
Don't go!!!
First time I went there I took a friend from the UK, she got robbed, second time there I got robbed without knowing it, car was busted into and then went to look around the shops, so many were empty, and it seemed there were so many homeless people and many needles on the street so never going back
Was San Francisco dangerous full of homeless people? Im thinking of going but lots of people say its gone really downhill and not as good as it used to be. Did you hire a car too?
I used to live and work there for almost a decade…👌👍
Who are you kidding?
Yeah very much love .no longer.say hello to everybody in there ❤
Don't go there!
Thank you for making this kind of amazing Vlog. I am about to move to the bay area and I’m so excited about having a trip in San Francisco. I really can feel your guys passion and love to San Francisco!!
I live next door in San Mateo county. I wouldn’t set foot in that dump. And that’s from someone who was born and raised there.
biking puts you by the road on the bridge. Walking next to the edge is not fun if you get vertigo lol. But I walked the whole thing and enjoyed it
GOOD VIDEO … PLEASE STOP THAT PHONY UK ACCENT LADY
Thursday will be my 1st time in California!!!! I chose san Francisco, flying from north Carolina, im going to cry, im so greatful, i never thought i could afford California
Currently flying out there. Carnt wait, But a little apprehensive about the issues. But to be honest every where has some issue. Also SFO is a massive life goal to go and see along with a few more on this trip.
👏🥇👍
Good job! You covered quite a bit of this lovely city. I love it and have visited it at least 10 times but only for 3 or so days. I used to live in a small coastal Northern California town. It was a 3.5 drive to SF. This video brought back some good memories. last time I was there was 2008. I want and need to return. Thanks again! You look to have a lovely family. You also have a lovely voice with accent.
Man, I LOVE San Francisco. Thanks.
but be aware of smash and grab, leave nothing inside yr vehicle / rental vehicle , DO NOT think it won't happen to you even you are few meters away from yr vehicle ! San Francisco wasn't like 10 years ago, homeless everywhere, make sure you don't visit or walk thru City Hall at night ( after dinner little walk for 10mins ) FYI even camera crew got robbed twice in TwinPeak !
Can I wear my body armor and carry my M4?? Because we all have seen the crime, drugs, homeless, and shit on the sidewalks???😮
Ooooh, sourdough bowls with clam chowder… So good and I say that coming from a country famous for the wide variety of breads (Germany), Boudin‘s is AMAZING!
Back in ˋ91, I WALKED the Golden Gate Bridge (and many a hill, enough to know that I would NOT want to cycle there!), it was one of the best things I ever did. BEAUTIFUL city, thank you for bringing back all the wonderful memories! And there is nothing more beautiful than watching the fog drift in from a window a flor or two up. Kind regards from Germany, Nicola
San Francisco is not safe at all…it's a nice video, but that place is a nightmare. And there is no "nice area"… refer to the recent murder of CashApp founder Bob Lee who was stabbed to death on the street in the "nice area". Mr. Lee had recently fled to Florida to get away from the decaying San Francisco and was only back in the bay to tie-up loose ends from the move…his children are now fatherless…wife left a single mother. It's not a one off, it's a pattern of crime that is relentless in San Francisco. In addition, if you make the mistake of driving a car there…they will bash out your windows and take anything they want. Good luck 🤷♂️…
This was a GREAT video 😃it had me pumped up and ready to come to San Francisco, it has always been my dream to walk across The Golden Gate Bridge 🙏 I can't wait 🕊Thank you for this inspiration 😘
2005 time is gone
We live in the Bay but I always love watching travel videos of SF 😍. I love my sourdough just like you guys. Funny story- I was in Ontario, Canada a few months back and was having breakfast at a local cafe. They asked what bread I wanted and I said, “sourdough pls”. They just looked at me funny, so I just settled for wheat 😂
Which month and dates did you go ?
How long and how much time did you spend on your golden gate round trip ? Thank you for sharing your videos
I love California but I never been to San Francisco I would really take a chance to visit there but it's very expensive.
Where are you guys coming from?
I was living in San Francisco for a few years back in 90’s .
I don’t miss live there but it’s good to going back to visit sometime.
Don’t forget the tenderloin
Nice video.
Hi beautiful family!
thank you so much for sharing. I will be traveling to San Francisco this summer with my 2 kids. 7 and 9 if you don’t mind me asking where did you buy your Alcatraz tickets? I was looking in the website you provided but it says children 12 and up did you have any issues to go behind the scenes with your children ?
Thank you !
