  1. Thank you for this video. I am planning a weekend trip to Chicago (first time), and all of the other bloggers are covering all of the boring places that you could go anywhere. I lived in NYC for 15 years; I want to know where the regulars go! 😊 So thanks again 🙌

  2. Hancock building by far for an observatory. Deep dish is a casserole dish. Tavern style is the way to go, cut into squares. And ya gotta have an Italian Beef.

  3. Hi, I grew up in Chicago. Your video is very good. I agree on your food recommendations. People always comment on the deep dish pizza and we Chicagoans only had that when visitors came to town.

  4. I grew up in Chicago and I try to educate everyone Chicago-style pizza doesn't mean deep dish the thin crust Tavern style is actually better and that is also Chicago-style pizza

  5. Hi, i'm french and i hope come to chicago in september for the first time . I find an appartement in south loop, it's good ?
And what observatory is better than sears tower ?
Thanks a lot and sorry for my english .

  6. And, it will always be the Sears Tower. Nobody here calls it the Willis Tower. It will always be the Sears Tower to us. Just because some British company decided to buy it and rename it doesn’t change it for us. It’s not the “Whatcha talkin’ bout Willis” Tower. That blasphemy.

  7. My boyfriend and I are traveling by train to Chicago for a week from Louisiana at the end of the month. I've watched so many of your videos the last couple of months and I cannot tell you how grateful I am and a bit more familiar I feel after these wholesome bits of info! First really big city besides Dallas, TX. Thank you so kindly!

  8. I just saw this and being from Chicago ( was born and raised there ) but I no longer live there LOL !!!! I have to agree 100% with this vid. I almost always cringe when people tell me they love to visit Chicago and do these things that you mentioned. It truly does not do the city any justice whatsoever. And yes , most Chicagoans eat thin crust pizza FOR SURE> When I lived there I would get a slice or two of deep dish maybe once every couple years. Always always prefer the thin crust.

  9. I love how you still call it the Sears Tower, it shows how you are truly a Chicagoan! I just love your videos, would love to join you for either a beef, wet and hot or some tavern style pizza, but I have to run to Jewels to pick up some groceries.

  10. Field Museum, Museum of science and Industry, Wacker Drive, Blues Brothers Tour, Lincoln Park Zoo, Buckingham Fountain, Polk Street Blues Bar, Art Institute, River Walk, Shedd Aquarium, ect. Etc

  11. Worst thing I’ve done when I came to Chicago for 5day work trip was to buy 7day cta card pass. Everyone I walked on foot 😉 50km on foot in 5 days 😉

  12. This video is spot on, but if you are gonna do a few of these traps, then I highly recommend that you get a CityPass. It will allow you to choose which touristy things to do.

We did SkyDeck, a museum, and my favorite- the architectural boat tour, which was excellent. Again, it is definitely touristy, but the CityPass will at least save you some money. All of these things separately can be pricey

  13. I disagree with the bean not having history haha We made this history, imagine a 100 years from now people visiting the bean haha will be a wow moment we should be proud because it was built in our generation 😀 and it has our name haha millennial 😁.. every aspect of the city matters hehe if you guys have time and money visit everything 😄😄
