My girlfriend and I went to Le Panier and had the best time. This was at the end of an Alaska cruise, so we walked from the port to Pike Place. The food was so good and we also met this lovely local couple in line with us that told us about the city. If it weren't for them, we wouldn't have known about the monorail that goes directly to the Space Needle. The people are so friendly :). We didnt bother going to Starbucks for the same reason; it's just like any other Starbucks.
I 🩷 Seattle !
If you want the "special Starbucks" Starbucks Reserve Roastery in Capitol Hill (1124 Pike St
Birthday beachers is the best! My mom found the recipe somewhere and usually makes it every year for me. (Costco has frozen ones that are actually pretty good)
This was great. Headed there next year.
Fun video!! The caramelized croissant say: Queen Amahn (that’s how I’ve heard it…)
Sometimes I find that Sara talks a little too fast. I have to go back to hear what she’s saying or leave the CC on.
I love everything about the Pacific Northwest
I’m originally from South Carolina. I lived in Seattle from 97-2007. I’ve always said that if there was a city that was built for me it would be Seattle. I regret leaving
Im crying because you didn't get the salmon piroshky😭
i live in texas but i’m so excited to visit Seattle and maybe even move there one day. watching your video on PPM was truly wonderful and almost as delightful as those turkish treats!
I go through this place almost every weekday… Beeeyoooteefull…
I miss Seattle so freaking much. I cannot wait to move there.
Does the FDA know this place exists? Because I think it probably shouldn't 😂😂
Every time I'm at the Pike Place Market (rarely), I visit the "Crumpet Shop" for a salmon and cucumber crumpet. 😉
For years I thought "Seattle's Best Coffie" was a "Starbucks" moto (btw – I don't like coffee… ironic). ;-D
I'm never watching anything you make ever again
That is not good mac, you fuckers are so stupid
Your show makes me want to punch my face. Stop being so ignorant. Be more respectfull
Eat fucking seafood in Seattle not fucking pastries
You are just clueless and retarded. Seattle has more seafood than anywhere in the world. Do your research before you arrogantly talk shit about Seattle.
People from Seattle don't like Mormons, dont support adds from Mormons. I'm from Seattle, dont be clueless about places you have never lived
I fast forward to the Mac and cheese and can instantly tell you health freaks. Don't do food reviews.
I used to live a few blocks from there, the trick is to be there before they open, my usual vendors always helped me as they set up their shops so I would get my produce and go on with my day. My favorite bakery was Le Panier… I still dream of their Josephine pastry mmmm
was there recently and I was quite pleased and surprised with the organic apple cider there.
Can’t understand half of what she is saying!?? Sorry have to leave…
Pike Place Market has existed since 1908. None of the businesses you visited have been in the market very long, in relative terms. The cheese place was the Pike Place Garden Center for many years. Since you were reviewing food ready to eat, you missed all the real institutions. Three Girls Bakery, Franks Produce and DeLaurentis Deli have been in the market for many, many years. If you wanted a view, you could have had your lunch at The Athenian Inn and stayed in the Market. I always loved Post Alley as a hangout. Tourists have possibly saved Pike Place in its later years. At one time it was a marketplace for the working folks of Seattle, myself included. To me, this video represents the detached, circus atmosphere that has taken over, replacing what was once a real, functioning place. The buildings survive, but Pike Place has become a sad relique. At least you got there early enough to watch the set-up with your coffee.
Any Pike Place food tour is incomplete without a visit to the Crumpet Shop❤
Give it a shot the next time you’re in Seattle
Hello!! I'm actually heading to the PPM today for a 5 day solo-trip, but I lived and worked there for a number of years…. eons ago. I haven't been there since the viaduct was taken out. Some things have definitely changed, some have not. I loved that you pointed out how special it is getting there early in the morning to watch the Market wake up. That's my favorite secret tip about the PPM. Also, the trivia regarding the "first" Starbucks (hard eye roll)…you wouldn't believe how many people visit the PPM just for that, even above the flying fish guys, and you're right about there being way better coffee even within the Market. I'm bringing my own pour-over kit since my hotel room has an electric kettle, and coffee isn't cheap. Mee Sum is my fave place for savory "pastries". RGB packs a punch!! Great tip with the Thompson. I've never been there before. With the sun setting in the west, the PPM is one of my all time fave places to watch a sunset in the PNW. Thank you!!
Its always strange to me that people do not think of the suffering caused to the Mother cows for cream dairy. Indifference
Lol, I'm in this. I'm glad I look okay. 😂
Too bad Seattle has become a war zone. There are literally armed guards by nearly every storefront. Who really cares how good the food here is when you’re getting stalked by some fentanyl crazed homeless guy? Oh also it’s insanely pricey.
Anchorhead Coffee is THE SH*T…TOP NOTCH
As a local, I concur with most of the evaluations. BTW, love your dog's name. As a fellow Kramer myself, I'm sure we would get along famously.
SEATTLE. SUCKS
Scary
I live downtown and love Pike Place. These are some great spots but also just a few of many! It has been a bit since I've stopped by, this video is inspiring me to hit up some of my favorites.
BWhere to shop from in Seattle? Need to get affordable clothing, chocolates, electronics
Ghost alley!
I thought I was the only one to hear Turkish delight from the lion the witch and wordrobe
Who are these assholes?Oh,I didnt read first.Professional tourists,GREAT.No wonder they don't know jackshit.Campagne?Maximillien?Matt's?Go to Venezuela please and stay there.
Excellent tips! Thanks!
Yummy! I miss the food around Pike Place.
Mee SUm Bakery is my all time favorite. We always stop here first. ALways perfect.
Come for the food but hold your nose and step carefully.
Holy first world problems. Obessing over a raspberry bríoche.
Geezas.
super nice vid -thank you. Turkish Delight also had awesome lentil soup too, had it for lunch at least once a week for years when I was working down there. Three Girls Bakery is also excellent, as is Falafel King and Las Agaves. Pike Place Chowder is great, (the smoked salmon is the best in my opinion), but agree the lines are insane.
Man you guys missed so much! The donuts around the corner from flying fish. The Chinese is spot on and the only place to get pork stick and shu-mi, shrimp balls. BBQ pork humbow. The gyros the fresh apple cider across the street. Kelly’s Irish bar. Next time you visit. Try china town. Kau kau, tamarind tree, wonton soup place, garden bush.
West Seattle Luna park (Elvis was there) spuds on alki, instead of saying best food in Seattle say your favorite foods
Wait a minute. You went to Pirosky Pirosky and didn't get a Pirosky?
FAIL
Get back there and try again.
Dont come to Seattle. It's a shithole 3rd world country riddled with crime drugs homelessness and garbage. It is not safe do not come this video is ridiculously bad. I live there
