  1. covered a lot but did miss a few notable items such as the mountain towns like Julian, hiking and biking in the East County, Vineyards in the North County, Casinos and Outlets nearby. Other beach towns, border area and things to do down there, just about all of the entire South Bay was not mentioned but of course not the most notable area but still things to see and do down there as well. Over all, a very good video that represents the city pretty well.

  2. I lived in SD for 9 years and moved away last December. This video made me intensely miss that city. I LOVED my time there.

And I'm glad to hear your shoutout for Deft brewing. We were regulars there since they opened in late 2017. It was our Cheers bar and is still our favorite spot.

  3. The best sunsets I saw were on the Amtrak Surfliner or Coaster between Oceanside and Carlsbad. Great video I am glad I visited most places you show since I moved here in October 2015 before COVID. I would add the Birch Aquarium in La Jolla,, the Chinese Museum downtown near Petco Park, and the Frank the Trainman Technology History Museum in University Heights.

  4. "Hidden gems" huh?

I've lived in point Loma, off sports arena, lakeside, off mission rd by old Town and down by the navy base. I've walked that entire city and I've got to say. Ain't no "Hidden gems" the gaslamp district is too crowded with most bars I liked closed now, the out door mall is boring, the civic theater is cool and I've seen Wicked like four times there but the location itself leaves alot to be desired. The trolly is cool somewhat but has gotten kinda out of hand with the police hassling everyone. The beaches; well OB isn't anything special tbh and is the beach of the hippies bums and druggies. MB/PB are often too crowded, you can't smoke on the boardwalk- I'd know. I got a ticket for simply having an unlit cig in my mouth. I had no clue the law had changed soooo there's that. SeaWorld is overpriced and tbh I don't support them in the least. The ballpark is surrounded by bums and the like. Point Loma is essentially the territory of fishing tbh, so if you're into that then there's H&M landing, Fisherman's landing and I forget the other one. Further down there's the commercial landing. Not sure if it's still Driscoll's landing but it used to be. Not much in Point Loma tbh though.

  5. Really great video, however Green Flash brewery no longer exists. It's been a while since it shut down. It was sold off in December 2021 to a Colorado based brewery.
