  1. 2800$ for 1 br apartment 😑 so the dollar 💵 has almost no value in San Diego. You can find a nice 1br in Dallas TX for under 1000$ a month and gas is 2.50 a gallon.

  2. i live in Florida i wanted to see what’s more costly also i would probably rent a home until i’m ready to own but then i’m moving out of the country where when i own i’ll really own it.

  3. This video completely romanticizes San Diego. I’ve been living here for over 20 years and tell everyone NOT to move here. It’s over priced, over crowded, and the politics are off the rails. It’s not worth it. We can barely afford to do anything anymore. If the insane restaurant/entertainment prices doesn’t get you, the cost of gas will (yes, you NEED a car). Public transportation is a joke. We plan to move within the next five years.

  4. I was planning on moving to SD area as a 30s year old but north around Encinitas/Solano beach area. Is this too far north and a bad idea? I find the inner city too dense for myself. + dog. Thanks

  5. Amazing video, A friend of mine referred me to a financial adviser sometime ago and we got talking about investment and money. I started investing with $120k and in the first 2 months , my portfolio was reading $274,800. Crazy right!, I decided to reinvest my profit and gets more interesting. For over a year we have been working together making consistent profit just bought my second home 2 weeks ago and care for my family..

  6. Born and raised in San Diego, moved away (out of state) at the age of 52. The only thing I miss is the weather. So, if you like high taxes high prices on everything and sitting in your car and not moving San Diego is the place for you.

  7. June gloom came in late this year. The gloom sometimes just last till noon lol. There's traffic in every city during rush hour. That doesn't really count. I think stone was bought by sapporo.

  8. Rent is too expensive:( All I can afford is Austin texas or Denver with my income. Rent in SD would eat up all my extra money I want to invest 😅 considering becoming a digital nomad and moving to either Thailand or the Philippines. I can live in major cities like Bangkok or Cebu super cheap. San Diego is probably the most beautiful place in California but definitely not sustainable to live long term unless you make more than $120k a year.

  9. 15 miles for a half hour commute? Try 10 or less if you're working typical work hours. I used to live 9 miles from work and it would still take 45 minutes to an hour some days.
