Watch the documentary Blackfish before you decide to go to Sea World. Please don't give the park money to continue keeping whales and dolphins in captivity. Whales were NOT meant to be in a swimming pool. They need to swim thousands of miles every year and are meant to live in the ocean.

My H.S. prom and Christmas dance was always at the del. Then, we used the ferry to get to the hotel del.
I grew up in San Diego decades ago, then, downtown was old, rundown, decayed- seedy with seedy shops and an over abundant of “women deprived “sailors”, many on leave ….if you know what I mean.
Good looking out for mentioning Oceanside and North County. A lot of creators dont when speaking on SD.
As a Yelp Wlite reviewer that you bad mothing San Diego and the remarks are the worst . Where do you get your info have you rode lyct or uber orcstayed at the hotels if you gavent stayed there you bad mouth SanDiego.
#16 Don’t visit city heights
I lived there for fifteen years ('83 to '98) and it's changed an awful lot! (expected). NO FRIES IN CARNE ASADA BURRITOS!! 😉
Just visited on 4th of july weekend and had a blast. I did stay downtown but it wasn't too expensive. A LOT OF HOMELESS PEOPLE. Parking downtown is crazy expensive depending on time but definitely rent a car. Party 1 day on the strip then visit the beautiful scenery outside the city

We used Turo when we visited San Diego for a rental car. It worked out wonderfully!

My GPS takes me to the point of interest or the location but doesn’t always tell you where the parking is and it can be stressful and hectic to try to find it.
