  1. $300 for dinner for 2? Wow!!
That said I really enjoyed the storytelling and voice recordings. Very well done. Wish we’d had time for the holocaust museum.

  2. Fun! I told my wife that I thought you did Washington DC before just before you said it. We have been to DC a few times, but we want to plan another trip. We figured on staying in a hotel in Maryland and hopping on the train. Then we will do a hop on hop off tour bus or Uber. We will visit a few National Museums, see a couple walkable sights, eat at a couple places, then head back to the hotel. Next day repeat! Where did you guys stay? How much for parking? Any recommendations for food and transportation?

  3. 🎉 My hubby and I just found your Vegas videos. So fun to see you in ‘our city’!
Joe’s is a solid choice! Pie is hubby’s favorite, so it may be his favorite steakhouse!
The next time you’re in DC, check out the Botanical Gardens. There’s something about the oasis of green amongst all the museums and monuments. All the Smithsonian museums are amazing, but two I highly recommend and the Native American and African American. Since they are newer, they are very well thought out and as foodies you’ll appreciate they have the best food of all the museums (I know…not saying much…). The African American Museum actually incorporates the food into the museum-it’s definitely part of the experience.
Thanks so much for helping us plan our next Vegas trip!

  4. Josh and Rachael, thank you!! What an AWESOME video! So aside from Las Vegas, D.C is our favorite city to visit. What a great visual tour of the Mall & museums. Well done! Thank you! Hope you are enjoying our city of Indianapolis this weekend! Next time you go to DC, there is a Cuban Cafe in the Wharf that is positively amazing, Colada Shop.

  5. Ohhh a planetarium?! The last one I went to was in LA…and it was meh, so I’ll put this one on my list! Most importantly, thank you for the excerpts from the Holocaust Museum (especially) and Memorials!! A close friend is jewish, and im going to send to her. Great Video…very nicely done!!

  6. I flew to DC to get married in 1968, right after the riots & my Marine Father marched in FDR's funeral procession. DC holds a special place in my heart. Thank you for sharing your adventures.

  7. If y’all are still there you should head to Annapolis Maryland and check out the downtown area and the United States Naval Academy, I promise you won’t be disappointed.

  8. I definitely need to go back to DC again, it’s such a beautiful city. The holocaust museum will definitely be on my agenda too (great editing of that BTW).
Spy museum is definitely worth going back to, I spent about 1/2 a day there and it was lots of fun.

  9. Hi Josh and Rachel. Loved this video. I have been to DC often. The FBI museum might be more to your liking. Always order your tickets in advance. Thanks for what you do😊. I can’t wait for the next adventure 👍

  10. Oh my goodness. This is the first time that I have cried in one of your videos. Started with the Holocaust,Vietnam veterans memorial &ending with the Korean War I lost it my Dad was in that one. He was one of the lucky ones & made it home. You two ended it on a good note with yummy food 😊 thanks for bringing us along 💜

  11. Thanks for including the Holocaust Museum. I have also had the privilege of visiting Yad Vashem, the holocaust memorial in Jerusalem-it’s hard to comprehend how humans could treat others so horribly.
I totally agree with you about Korea War and World War II memorials. Truly a beautiful city. Glad you survived DC safely.

  12. Great video! DC is a must experience but I recommend renting the bikes to access the city. So much walking, and the convenient food options are not the best. Yes, there are a limited number mediocre food trucks, but you have to walk/bike approx 3/4 mile from the mall area to find good eats. I loved the subways. Easy to access, safe, and innexpensive. Such an amazing/important travel experience.
