  2. We just spent a day in San Francisco last month. We had almost the exact same day but we spent even less money than you guys did. Haha. We had a backpack breakfast of stuff we brought from home at Golden Gate Park while we watched the bison. Then a round of disc golf. Pupusas for lunch. Then the painted ladies and the Cable Car Museum which is so cool (and has really cheap souvenirs). We drove down Lombard street. Went to the Musée Mechanique. Then we had dinner at the Emeryville ikea on our way out of town. The food there is half off on Tuesdays which just happened to be the day we were there.

  3. You can also get great pics of the cable cars at the Van Ness stop for the California line. Since it's also the end they sit there for a few minutes too.

  4. Love! Thank you for traveling on a budget. I always spend so much, and its on food mostly :LOL And I totally agree that each part of San Francisco operates on small and local level.

  5. You are so lucky you didn't get robbed when you made your video! My camera gear was stolen from me during a solo shoot while I was filming at Crissy Field; a local TV reporter had his gear stolen at gunpoint at Twin Peaks, and a wedding photographer recently was robbed, also at gunpoint, at Palace of Fine Arts. You had the angels with you….

  6. Devil's Teeth is pretty great. I live near the one in Sunset and my ex-g/f and I would get their breakfast biscuit sandwiches and coffee and then drive to Ocean Beach and eat them while watching the ocean.

If you can time if right, many museums have a free day once a month for everyone (residents of the Bay get free admission for many of them each week, IIRC). Its a great way to save money. I love all of your other suggestions. It's nice to see a channel showcase things other than Fisherman's Wharf/Pier 39.

  7. I have Dutch heritage too! My mom’s parents immigrated to the US in the 1950s but they were from Leeuwarden in The Netherlands, not far from Groningen! Small world! Another great video, guys!
