Man I’m just wondering when I visit should I rent a car or just uber around? I’ll be there for 4 nights. I wanted to rent a car but I know parking is usually paid there right so maybe I should just uber?

we had friends who went to LA and SFO during these months, and their inputs about walking around busy streets and markets weren't too good
they mention they are many pickpockets, and they have to be on the watch at all times and holding their purses, etc….
couple of them were victims….
