thanks local seattle dj @damianbrookz for coming with me on the gnarly hike
Index Town Wall / This place is insane. It’s only an hour away from Seattle and is next to the cutest small town
The hike itself is gorgeous but quite difficult. But it’s only 1.2 miles to the top, and the view is insane
Address to the trailhead: Old Gold Bar-Index Rd, Index, WA 98256
Colchuck Lake / if you go, please take care of the environment, stay on trail, and help pick up litter (obviously follow the leave no trace principle too)
This is my favorite hike in all of Washington I’ve done it like three whole times
Address for the trailhead:
Colchuck Lake via Stuart Lake and Colchuck Lake Trail (so it’s annoying but it doesn’t have an exact address but google and Apple Maps should recognize this)
Tacoma Defiance Park/ it’s absolutely beautiful and you might be able to see SEALS and orcas
It’s not expensive at all and super accesssibe, and there are tons of places you can get to without even hiking in
if you go, please take care of the environment (video owner unknown… if yk who’s this is, plz dm us )
Golden Gardens Beach/ one of the most underrated places in seattle in my opinion. It totally blew our minds and was super swimmable, has sand, the prettiest sunsets, and lots of pick up volleyball
When we were there, we SAW SEALS
Deception Pass / This is a state park and an entrance to the hidden gem of Whidbey island. Must I say more?
Definitely worth a visit, and if you need an itinerary for this island, look no further than one of my recent posts!
who are you taking? Do you have any questions?
