Las Vegas

I Tested Every FREE Thing to Do in Las Vegas (BEST vs WORST)

We tested every free thing to do in Las Vegas, and some of them are a complete waste of your time. Many Las Vegas travel guides list 50, 80, and some even 100 free things to do in Vegas, but often don’t tell you which ones are actually worth your vacation time and which free Las Vegas attractions you should skip entirely. Some of the best free things to do in Las Vegas genuinely blew us away. A few popular ones that get recommended over and over? We couldn’t believe how bad they were.

What’s your favorite free thing to do in Las Vegas? Tell us in the comments, we read every one!

  1. We've been to every single one of these and some of them honestly surprised us. A few that get recommended everywhere are not even close to worth your time 😂 What's the one free thing in Las Vegas you tell everyone to do?

✨ We're closing in on our 300K subscribers milestone. If you're diggin' our vibe hit SUBSCRIBE. ❤

  2. I love love las Vegas, I just don’t like flying 😩 that’s why I enjoy traveling with you guys . Tanya I love the up hair style with the scarf gorgeous. I have seen a few of the things the flowers when u look up, the flowers garden and the water show is always Amazing. Thanks for the video 💯❤

  3. When I got married at the Wynn Hotel we took a limo to the Welcome To Las Vegas Sign. There was a long line but when we stepped out everyone let us go to the front. And our little wedding cake had the sign on top 🙂

  4. Oh yes!!! Amen!!! Probably have seen 75% of your spots and all the good ones reminded me of why I love Vegas! Need to get off my 80yo butt and get back there! 👋 from Wisconsin 😁

  5. And the circling escalators at the entrance hall of the forum shopd(actual working escalators in Vegas!! Double as a mind bending puzzle how does that work!?!? If you have a, bit of an engineering mind you'll love it😮

  6. Credit where credit is due, Hershey's Chocolate World is at least not really out of the way, it's nice to dart in just to cool off for a moment if you're passing through New York New York. Not worth putting on the list for a dedicated stop, of course, but good for a breather. And I agree about the Atlantis Show. Stop and grab a gelato on the way and snack on it while you watch the free show, it also makes a nice breather, especially if you're checking out the Forum Shops anyway.

  7. I’ve been coming to Las Vegas multiple times per year since 1990. So many of the cool free things are now gone. One thing you didn’t mention, and is probably not worth the cab ride out there, but still very nostalgic for me, is the Mystic Falls Park atrium in Sams Town, with a free laser light and waterfall/fountain show. It runs 3x per evening M-Thurs and 4x each evening Fri-Sun. Worth it if you have a car or are staying on the Boulder Strip.
I know you two have been there.

  8. Painted rocks….seriously. not sculpture but painted rocks, painted. I took a picture of myself near painted rocks (kidding)…..Makes as much sense as watching wannabe Venetian gondolas. Otherwise, I agree with your list.

  9. I agree with everything you point out EXCEPT – you recommend driving out 20 MINUTES to see painted rocks that were thrown in the middle of nowhere, but pass on the absolutely beautiful Grand Canal Shops with the Canal running thru the middle. It is an absolutely marvelous place to walk thru, and I've never shopped at any of the wonderful shops. If you want to see NATURALLY PAINTED ROCKS – go to Red Rock Recreation Area outside Summerlin

  10. Thank you for bringing us LV! If I ever had the chance I think I would would stay off strip on Fremont Street I'm more into the old Vegas but can appreciate the new and modern. My must visit would have to be zak bagans haunted museum for Dr Kevorkian mobile and the Hoover dam. I'm a frequent AC visitor bc we're local but Vegas and reno would be a good experience!

  11. The Atlantis show at Caesar’s was also a motion ride that was so much fun! I was so disappointed when they got rid of it. As far as the animatronics go, they tried to make them politically correct and now it looks kinda stupid.
