  1. I saw red hots on the sign. Had me on that. Nothing like splitting open a red hot and burning it up in the frying pan real quick with a nice bun and a pickle

  2. That's my home town! Nothing but GREAT food everywhere! Lem's is my all-time favorite BBQ joint! I'm over 65 yrs old, and grew up on it. My grandmother lived 2 blocks up the street and every other Saturday we got BBQ from Lem's. I even memorized the phone number when I was a child, and have actually called it by mistake to place an order from someplace else, since I've been living inanother state for over 50 years.🤣 The other Saturdays we usually went to Yung's Chinese Food, which was just down the street on the corner of South Park (now King Dr) and 75th. It's gone now. Makes me want to grab my big suitcase that I always took just for food, and fly there just to buy all my favorites to bring back home… a bucket of Tips, and a few trays of Rips from Lem's. Of course, if I were going to fly all the way there just to get food to bring back, I'd also stop in Chinatown to pick up some Chinese food, Hyde Park to get a Stuffed Spinich deep-dish Pizza (or two) from Giordano's. Maybe even run out to DiCola's to get some fried Frog Legs, Scallops and Shrimp, too. Last stops would be downtown to get Garrett's popcorn, Macy's to get a few bottles of Frando Liquor and a dozen boxes of Frango Chocolate candies, and then to Jewel's to get O-Ke-Doke popcorn, and Jay's Potato chips. I guess that would hold us for a while. 🙂

  3. Ok I just got home from there Mark… I’ll say this you’ll never pull them on charges ! Our experience was different!! I’ll give that spot a 5 out of 10! I think you should start critiquing them if if it’s not good!

  4. My brother in law and his father made this from scratch for us they made the bread their own sausage they Italian beef was a two day process. It was just wonderful

  5. One mistake he made, he quotes someone saying the Italian beef the "ultimate grease bomb", not true as all. The beef is made usually from whole beef insides (top rounds) or sometime bottom rounds, they are very lean. They're smothered with beef soup base powder, garlic, and some oregano, roasted rare, chilled over night, then sliced thin. The sliced beef goes into hotel pans with water and lots of cut up green peppers and then finished in the oven. The juice is the water/stock left over in the pans after cooking.

  6. I just watched this episode right now. Chicago is only about an hour and a half away from me. We frequent her often too bad you didn’t come this way more north to Hortonville Wisconsin. To the black otter supper club they have the best prime rib and they actually have a contest for it. They’ve made it on many magazines and news articles for having the number one prime rib It would’ve been cool to see you. You will have to post if you ever come to Hortonville to the black otter to try their food.

  7. Dear Immigrants residing in MesoAmerica if the original dirt people didn’t invite you here and you don’t acknowledge the truth about EVERYONE who has arrived here since 1492 be on notice that you have chosen to be on the wrong side of history and are served notice to vacate😂😂❤
