Travel Itinerary for This Episode: https://samantha-brown.com/episodes/season-5/boston-ma/
I’m in a destination that is easily one of the most enjoyable places in the world. A historic city bursting with the youthful vibe you can’t help feeling a part of. It’s a destination that knows its place in history and wants you to understand yours. And where locals inspired by founding principles create revolutions of their own. It’s a city where the world is your oyster that hits all the right notes. I’m in Boston, Massachusetts.

Wow, this is so cool that you found your ancestors. Didn't even know this 8 floor library place existed and I'm born and raised in Boston/Boston metro area! There's an old library in the original library building in Quincy where there's old books but you have to get permission and it's usually quite dark in there to preserve all the old books.
I agree, Boston is a place to love. I love how it's growing but still hold onto it's roots in most of the communities. I remember being very sad when they tore down some of the older buildings with beautiful architectures in downtown and built up some modern buildings.
I'm originally from Boston
Down some oysters and talk to folks, where Paul Revere once talked. Stroll an old cobblestone street, where John Adams once walked.
If you want to see and taste and smell a living history class, then pack your bags and set your phones to visit Boston Mass.
Boat along the river Charles, or walk the Freedom Trail. You can even row your boat, or float along by sail.
Visit the Old South Meeting House, which helped to make us free. A crowd of patriots gathered there, then filled the harbor with tea.
In a family-owned asian eatery, enjoy a Margarita, while mom cooks authentic delicacies, and dad sings from Aida!
Go to the local library, and trace your family's past. (Sam looks great in glasses! And her outfits are a blast!)
Drop by a local bookstore. Get tickets for the "Pops". Dine in the famous North End. The action never stops!
But that's not all that Boston has, don't forget the Sox! The Celtics, parks, and concerts. Boston wicked rocks!
This "Places to Love" is wonderful. It surely raised the "bah". But Boston's big and tricky, so remember where you parked the "cah"!
I’m so happy to see you continue your work, Samantha! I used to love watching you on the Travel Channel. Enjoyed this video!
I love your content Samantha! I grew up in metro Boston. 30 min from Boston. Ive considered myself a proud NYer but your show makes me a bit nostalgic for Boston. Thanks for your great content…now i hope you get to do Hawaii again!
I grew up watching you and always wanted to grow up to be like you
I was so excited to share this video with my son who will be going to BU this fall. I didn't know that Martin Luther King, Jr. studied at BU! As a local it is so much fun to learn new things about my area. I have followed Samantha Brown for years and I am so happy she came here and showcased some of the best assets here.
So glad to see Roxbury getting featured. I’ve seen this gentleman giving a tour on my commute to work!
Gorgeous, gorgeous Boston, I love you! This was great, highlighting other amazing neighborhoods as well. Thank you Samantha! (The shock in her face when they said how many oysters they shuck in a day 🤣🤣)
Interesting. Just put off by the speaker at the Old South Meeting House
Great vid…since you’re a NH/Coastal girl….how about visiting Rhode Island 😊the Ocean State😀The state appetizer…calamari, beautiful water everywhere including the beaches and Newport.
Hi Samantha!! I loved watching your show on the Travel Network. I’m so glad your channel showed up on my feed today. You inspired me to travel solo and it was awesome❤
Yer ancestral tree took a strange detour❣
I listened to the remark 3 times on the Oyster House. I am not sure how you designate this the oldest continuously run restaurant in the US when the White Horse Tavern will celebrate it's 352nd anniversary this year, in Newport, RI.
The guy who sang in the Opera style stole the show! 😲
Eleanor Roosevelt and FDR were fifth cousins once removed, and Theodor was also FDR's5th cousin, not sure why she didn't include the president.
I'm living fort worth. Nice your video. Thank you
Homesick!!!
We love you Samantha … From ABQ NM USA !
Omg it’s Samantha Brown ❤❤❤ subscribed.
I do want to visit Boston, Samantha just not in the winter 🥶
Boston is one of my favorite cities! So easy to walk and so much to see, and getting to the north end to experience some of the best Italian food anywhere is such a huge pleasure!
You were here!!!!! Thanks for visiting.
always thanks from kona
MA is home, and I go to Boston multiple times a year. I loved this episode, learned so much, and really enjoyed watching! Well done, Samantha!
Samantha needs to meet Phil. What a match made in heaven for foodie/tourism!! Let it HAPPEN!!!!! Another SB triumph (on Boston) (oyster date on the horizon).
