  1. Nice video but unfortunately, after October 1st, Balboa Park will be charging for parking which is a REAL TURN OFF. I went to Balboa Park for fund-raising events and the museums…sometimes for a good long walk for exercise. Balboa Park sucks.

  2. I'm 57 now but from 7 to 16 we went to San Diego for 2 weeks every Christmas, it was the best time ever!!! We almost always stayed in Mission Bay at a campground but one time we stayed on Crystal Pier in Pacific Beach on those little cabins, it was Awesome!!! We stayed at the last one on the right, two years before the end of the pier fell into the Ocean. We would walk everywhere, on a Saturday or Sunday Tugs Tavern (No longer there) would serve $1 breakfast, I can't remember if it was a burrito or an omelet but it was good. We went to Sea World, Sea Port Village, Horton Plaza, Old Town, Balboa Park, The wild Animal Park, The Zoo, The natural History Museum and so much more!!! Sometimes we even spent the night on the Beach with some of the Surfers, in our sleeping bags. Life was so much safer then!! Those were always the best two weeks of our lives! La Jolla was always a treat, we would eat at, "The Great Earth" restaurant.

  3. La Jolla cove smelled really bad. The sea lions poo is just overwhelming If people visit this place first, they would think SD just stinks which it doesnt. Don't go there first. La Jolla along with Point Loma and Midway Musuem are 3 places I would avoid.

  4. Really enjoyed this. So many great spots packed into one video. San Diego looks super chill but with lots to see and do. Loved the mix of beaches, parks, and little neighborhoods. Definitely saving this for a future trip.
