First time visiting DC next spring, any suggestions where to stay for budget hotels/airbnb?
No sane person is going to risk getting arrested for stepping on USA soil, let alone walking in Washington. Sorry, but the world is not interested in going there for a holiday anymore.
How many are going to visit once Trump's Gestapo takes over the DC Police?

Very simple: never visit America.
Exploring DC neighborhoods is the biggest gap between poor and I work for the government I have ever seen
Pain to see the declaration of independence is like paying to be an American it’s just not right

Drake eversole is living disease that funguses over his own face and then he gets his wife to prevent love on him cause he’s dying
I just wanted to give my respect to Washington, D.C. I have never visited the area for no other reason besides it has just never manifested as of yet. Look forward to taking a visit someday soon. I also wanted to touch on D.C.’s historical prominence as the Capital of the “Old South”. In the Deep South, you always grow up knowing that post-Civil War that D.C. was considered not only a great migration area for African Americans but was also the most culturally influential. As the Sun Belt region rose to success in places like here in Georgia, the whole DMV socially became more akin to NY and Philly. And I still have nothing but love for those cities as well. Also being the Nation’s Capital to some extent overshadows or dominates their local scene on a national level. But the D.C. area has always impressed me from their culture in arts, music and entertainment to their strong academic universities and so much more. I have also known quite a few people from the DMV throughout my life and they have all been pleasant company. Instead of viewing ATL and D.C. as rivals, I’ve always believed we mirror so many of the same good qualities, and share many positive inner connections. Both are remarkable in their own unique ways. Yet, both also today in modern times get a bad rep in the media for crime and other social plagues despite histories of excellence. Again, I only see rivalries as entertaining when it’s sports; otherwise, I don’t invest any energy today in comparing cities or states. It’s too divisive and causes more harm than good. But I’ve always admired the DMV, continue to build on your success and recent progress.
I'd definitely love to see the art see some great concerts I see dc has a lot of great performances. For sure go to some good eating spots, open up my heart and maybe try going on some dates.

Touring and visiting the "White House" is the last thing I'm trying to see. Food & water front dining.
