  1. I didn’t love the tour to the Stanton island. Nit much there. They wanted $10 to look up people. The 89 bucks for my family of four to take the fairy to the statue then the Stanton island was just not worth it. They took forever to pick us up on a 95 degree day. Huge crowd waiting. Sone would get off the boat, very small crowd get on. Wait 25 another tour company default, few get off few get on.. we waited in deplorable heat for 2.5 hours!?! No misters. No shade. No bottles of water offered. I do but call recommend visiting. The posters describing the immigrants coming aren’t enough to go through what we did!

  2. I am from Albany NY and know very little about the city. Most of my NYC knowledge comes from listening to the WFAN radio shows out of Manhattan – I know driving is not the best way to go. Planning to take some train day trips to see all the things in your video. I love walking, so most interested in the Brooklyn bridge and central Park sites. Thank you for the wonderful tour. 😀😀😀

  3. NY Pizza Suprema is a great spot for a slice. Magnolia Bakery is also a must.

Agree on walking from Brooklyn to Manhattan on Brooklyn Bridge.

Agree on Summit One Vanderbilt or Top of the Rock for observation decks. If you go to Empire State Building, you can’t actually see it and you want it as part of the skyline.

You should try to go see Maybe Happy Ending on Broadway on your next trip. It may win the Tony for Best New Musical in a couple of weeks.

  4. Thank you for sharing your experience and recommendations! We're going in May. Will be sure to check out what we can as we are only there for two days. Your list will help a lot!
