Californians brag about California being the 5th largest economy in the world. If it wasn't for one-party rule it could be the 3rd largest.
Democrats are deindustrializing California. Manufacturing has and is moving out. Democrats are cutting off water to the central valley, farming is being decimated. Democrats want everyone living in densley packed urban centers and driving electric vehicles yet they deliberately cause energy prices to skyrocket.
Democrat voters don't understand that they are slowly being enslaved.
We spent summers in a house just south of Buccaneer Beach in the 1970's and there was a sand problem way back then so it is nothing new.
Oceanside 🤮
Hopefully Oceanside continues to clean up and improve development . My mom lives in Carlsbad. Just wish there was better quality hospital. Im in OC and we have Hoag Hosp in Newport Beach, Mission Hosp in Mission Viejo, Saddleback in Laguna Hills. Quality of schools and hospitals is a must consider when moving
We moved to Oceanside 11 years ago, it's changed significantly for the better. And it has a distinct vibe. Love being in Oside.

The homeless are frightening in SD. No thanks.
Oceanside has had a reputation as gangland in the past.
Imperial Beach is a pollution cesspool and it affects beaches all the way up to LaJolla, extreme North county beaches are better but very very expensive real estate!
Price estimates are low. I'd say count on 15-20% more than what's quoted, unless you want to buy the bottom.
My son will be moving out to San Diego next year for school. First year or two at Mesa community and the rest at UCSD. Please give me tips on what would be ideal for him to live with a blend of coastal lifestyle and ease of commute. Please!

This past weekend, I just visited the San Diego area including Oceanside. I was amazed by the boom of what used to be a sleepy, seaside town.
