Chicago is one of the best cities you can visit for your Christmas vacation. From the charming Christkindlmarket, where you can sip on mulled wine and discover unique handmade treasures, to gliding across the glistening ice at the Ribbon in Daley Park, this video is your ultimate guide to experiencing the best of Chicago during this magical season. We’ll also venture into Lincoln Park Zoo, where we’ll be dazzled by the twinkling Zoo Lights and try some of the city’s best food, such as deep-dish pizza. I hope you enjoy the fun Christmas adventure, and let us know what we left off in the comments.

This was my introduction to Through My Lens. I live in Milwaukee, but I love Chicago. I've been to the windy city many times since I acquired my driver's license at sixteen. Way back then, I could park outside the city for $3 and walk in. Chicago is beautiful. The buildings are amazing. The smell of Garrett’s caramel corn up and down State Street was intoxicating. In fact, my mother would tell me not to come home without her caramel corn! I’d buy a large bag and she'd end up with half as I munched my way on the drive home. Your Christmas video includes all the best Chicago has to offer. What a great job! I recall being at the Lincoln Park Zoo over Christmas. One building was open – the large cat building – with a school choir to entertain the visitors. Next to the choir was the tiger enclosure with a huge tiger who was a music critic. Every time these kids started singing, the tiger would get up, pace and roar. They'd stop and he'd lay down and stay quiet. They'd start singing again and he was up pacing and roaring! He was my entertainment of the evening. Love this video and have discovered so many more. Wonderful job. Thank you.
Great, I love Chicago Lights. In the 80s era, there was a sitcom called "Perfect Strangers". Their office is on river walk near the Chicago River Bridge.
HOW MANY MURDERS AND ROBBERIES
Looks so boring compared to NY 😢
Wow only 2days but a day and half you made a lot of things in windy city.
The Skydeck was there from the beginning. The glass ledges was the only addition.
pequod's pizza in Lincoln park is the best Chicago pizza
Excelent video. thanks
Not this year! Too much crime and shootings! You didn’t show us the juveniles killing each other.
At the great tree in the walnut room go to the next floor up the 8th floor to see a great view of the tree
SEARS TOWER
Wow! What a beautiful vlog. So informative… 9.5/10
I want that stenky sandwich…
Safe Travels, Happy Holidays and thanks for taking us along ✌🏽
I've enjoyed this video so much, I've watched it several times. Have a trip to Chicago coming up in early December. I think. I'm more excited about eating my way through Chicago than seeing all the sights. Thanks for some great info!
Pops would not do this, and, I wouldn’t, either!! A great nephew of mine proposed to his future wife there! (The glass with nothing underneath!!!
Chitcongo 🦧
You missed the Christmas movies at the Music Box Theater on Southport near Wrigley Field on the north side. You can watch either It's a Wonderful Life or White Christmas on the big screen. And there is a Christmas sing-along.
Did you look up at the ceiling at Marshal Fields Atrium? Beautiful!
What did you wear, if you don’t mind me asking?
Going for 48 hours in early December it’s gonna be like 30F at its highest.
I’ve never been anywhere that cold. I’ve got a merino wool hoodie, I’m thinking a thick merino long sleeve base layer, hiking pants, thick wool socks and a good beanie.
Is that a Patagonia puffer you’re wearing over your hoodie?
Thanks!!
Great Vlog !!! Will be going to Chicago for the first time this December and you really gave GREAT INCITE !!!!!
o'hare chicago airport
Chicagoians or those from Chicago call it the Sears Tower, if you get caught saying Willis Tower you will get dirty stares from Chicagoians even called out on it.
There's also a regular skating rink on Michigan Avenue–free if you bring your own skates. I like the bratwurst at the German Market. Also, potato pancakes and fried potatoes.
What hotel did u stay at?
The next time you come through Chicago or you stayed in Chicago you need to go to the top of the Hancock building there's a tavern up there and you can sit right at the window looking out over the city would a cocktail of your choice
There are four great North American cities to visit during Christmas; New York, Chicago, Toronto, and Vancouver.
Thanks. Looks like a great time. Merry Christmas
Wonderful Josh and Amy!❤😂
It’s got to be Vienna hot dogs and steamed buns. That’s the secret to great Chicago hot dogs.
I highly recommend Pequod’s for deep dish. Way better than the standard Giordano’s. I do not care for Lou Malnati’s. For downtown, Exchequer is pretty decent as well.
Love a cold stroll as long as its dry👍👍
Hey!! I finally made this trip for the Holidays. I enjoyed the Christmas Market as. The Christmas Around the World Holiday Lights + Griffin Museum was exceptional!!!
nice place hope to visit there someday
What an amazing and detailed video, thank you! Going to Chicago for the first time in December, from L.A. and I think you covered it all. What a beautiful city. Hope I can see and do it all in 4 days. Happy Holidays!
Never skip a Chicago video! Thanks for visiting! This video was great!
圣诞快乐。
👋👋🥴😵💫😳🫣
BRAVO TO U BOTH‼️👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
I'm afraid of heights, and I'm not sure if ur pops would stand out there⁉️⁉️🤔
However, amazing footage and just watching you both eating those Chicago Dog's, made me hungry‼️😁 Great video 👍👍
LPT – If you are visiting Chicago, DO NOT DRIVE. You will pay insane rates for parking and it will just suck in general.
Wonderful video!
Willis tower uhm no no its the sears tower
