I've lived in newyork my whole life and the city seems great and amazing at night with all the lights but normally everyone is rude af and try to sell you scams and some people just kinda be naked- (not even kidding I saw two girls with both their melons OUT)

Number one it's a toilet, number two it's full of parasites. Number three the toll collections are very crooked by organized crime you will continue to get bills for years and years , number for it's a toilet, and finally number 5 last but not least it's full of parasites. You will get pinworms going to New York

I’m a local and look up all the time at the skyscraper
so i go all the time, here are my top tips/things to know or do
1. walk fast otherwise you’ll piss people off
2. literally just cross whenever and wherever, since traffic is so slow you can go in between cars and they’ll stop because thats a normal thing
3. forty carrots at bloomingdales is the best frozen yogurt i have ever had
4. make sure youre aware of your surroundings. last time i was there my uber driver tried to take me through times square and skipped multiple turns because he thought i didnt know where i was going. if this happens and its easier to just walk, walk.
5. walk to the places you can walk to. ubers and taxis are lowk stinky as hell and you get your steps in
6. people are nice if youre nice first, so just be nice! i love new yorkers
I've been to the USA for the first time few weeks ago (writing this as boarding the flight back home) and i am in love with this country, especially new york
I went to NYC in 2023 as a european, although jaywalking was illegal at the time, they don't enforce it and I noticed when the traffic stopped the light would be red for another 10s, you could save so much time by just walking when the traffic stopped, though technically illegal then it was far better to get around, and you also look like a local so you don't get surrounded by scammers all the time.

I went to New York many years ago & I absolutely loved it. Saw everything I could in those 2 weeks. And I couldn’t get over how high the buildings were! And I’ve a photo of the twin towers which I took from the ground right up: fabulous! ❤
