Some of the best burgers in SD are Hodads, Eastbound(Eastpounder), Crazeeburger(tons of different burgers including alegator). I'm definitely going to check these 3 out now.

You didn't go to Hodad's which has been an OB San Diego burger institution since forever.
That alone negates the whole thing.
11:05 interesting fact is that McDonald’s used to cook their fries in tallow which produced a better product in my opinion. McDonald's stopped frying its french fries in beef tallow in 1990. The fast-food chain switched to 100% vegetable oil following public health pressure and a major advocacy campaign against saturated fats led by businessman Phil Sokolof. Sokolof died on April 15, 2004, of heart failure at the age of 82 probably from enjoying french fries made with beef tallow. If Phil was really interested in making his mark with the amount of fat in people’s diets, he should’ve gone after the Federal Government’s SNAP program!
