Join us for our very first time in San Francisco, one of America’s most iconic cities. We finally see the Golden Gate Bridge, try some of the classic local foods, and rent what might just be the perfect way to get around here, a tiny little car. We spent the day zipping through famous neighbourhoods and soaking up everything the city has to offer. This place was not what we expected at all, and we can’t wait to take you along for the full experience.

As a bay area native, this was a great review. Some 411…Ciopinno is actually the native San Francisco soup (the bread chowder bowl is more tourist). Golden Gate park and Height/Ashbury are definitely some places to stop and visit. Sausilto (other side of GG bridge) is worth the ferry ride to experience being in the ocean while in the bay. Catching a ball game at Oracle Park is also considered one of Americas top 3 ballparks. Tonys pizza was a great stop, considered some of the best pizza in the United States. Cheers!
Pronounced: GEAR A DELI..(GHIR)
Hotels in sf are a Ripoff no matter where you go..
They are not called trams ! They are called cable cars !
at a 4 way stop, everyone stops and the first person to stop is the first person to go and you take turn (first in first out)
Thanks for sharing your experience I be heading there in October this year. I be mostly walking around not sure I will book that yellow car thou , it’s look amazing
GEE-ahr-delly. And, boo-DAHHn. OuOur?
We love u both and recall being in love and freshly married…then kids (yikes !)
Nah. Luvved this episode.
I use to work on 6th and Market there downtown at 17 years of age !
Legal courier; I had to know the ENTIRE city because we didn't have internet–just atlases😅
Happy Trails 😊
It’s a Trolley not a tram. It’s there to climb the hills to central city and Haight Ashbury and Vhinagown and landmarks. Looks like you missed Haight Ashbury. Too bad you didn’t see UC Berkeley. I used to live at the top of Cathedral Hill and ride the Trolley to work at the bottom of the hill, and then back again. 4 way stop. The person to your right has the right of way. The person on your left has to let you go first. If you make it to St. Louis or Memphis, the Mississippi River is pretty entertaining. Take the Riverboat ride. Of course if you make it to Louisville, see the Kentucky Derby at Churchill Downs. If you go up the river you can go to Mark Twains home at Hannibal Missouri. Take the great river road north to see Eagle nesting grounds and the Grand Lodge where the French settlers lived. If you go down, you can go to Canun country. Specifically Natchez Mississippi.
I’m from San Francisco. Born and raised. I left over 10 years ago though blue states are too expensive. Democrat run states and their policies are detrimental. Highly detrimental
You must travel to the redwoods along the coast of northern California. The coast redwoods are so beautiful and gorgeous.
Bravo for eating the bread bowl. People who live here know about a loaf of Boudin bread.
As a New Yorker love your vlog there. As a fan of San Francisco who knows about stories of decline recently you’ve made me want to book another trip. Especially in January 😊. Go to Chicago next
Best city in the US! Haters just watch too much Fox News.
Love you guys! I started watching you guys after the Las Vegas video, and I really enjoy your videos!
LOL 4 way stops in the USA is just 1st come, 1st go…. So whoever makes a complete stop first, gets to go first. Others wait, and take your turn depending on who stopped first. YES, everyone needs to make a stop.
The main thing about California, almost all throughout the state, is the amazing weather… Whether you are in San Diego, LA, or Sacramento or San Francisco, weather is on average the envy of rest of America.
Might skip Pier 39 (tourist trap) and walk along Crissy Field (Marina). Go to Golden Gate Park, De Young, and Ocean Beach instead.
1:30ish of your intro is like watching the trailer of a movie. Who wants to watch the movie when you've seen it?
The best area to live in the world.
You don't need a vehicle in San Francisco or New York City!
not what we thought, because you listen to the media who degrade one of the great cities of the world.
9 bucks is steep. The street car in New Orleans is 2 bucks
Next time you visit SF you should stay at the Queen Anne, it's an old spooky haunted Victorian hotel.
You walked right past another Cousins Lobster food truck at the beginning of this episode.
The person to your right always has right of way in California.
Ty for checking our city out and your positive review. Northern Cali has so many beautiful places.
'Hidden gem' for European in the US is New Mexico: Santa Fe and Taos, Sandia mountains around Albuquerque and white Sands. It's a great historic view of the US, different from the one told in New England with some of the 1000s+ years old pueblos.
I'm so happy you enjoyed our beloved city, and yes people are that happy and friendly here 🤣
I apologize to whoever told you to stay in fisherman's wharf, as a local I probably wouldn't have, but I understand why it's considered touristy, you gotta say hello to the sea lion…. 🦭 🌁
you have to come and see the city the locals see, the hilly residential neighborhoods, the little shopping corridors that makes those neighborhoods so great to live in, the farmers markets with great produce farmed just nearby.
Also sorry about the fog , you learn to love it (mostly) 😅 8:57
Hey guys
I’m glad you had a fantastic time in the city I call home. In fact you were in my neighborhood, near the Golden Gate Bridge in the Marina District, Palace of Fine Arts. Maybe next time visit Golden Gate Park and the Marin Headlands right across the GG Bridge. Also if you haven’t already tried Chinese breakfast-Dim sum- try it we love it.
The wife shared your video with me, enjoy all the travels lots of memories.
If you like nature oregon is a beautiful place to go
November was a good time to go to the city. The northern state will flock there during the summer because outside of the coast and the mountains, most of CA will sit around 35 degrees Celsius if your lucky
Definitely one of the best videos! If you two ever go back to San Francisco, you must go to a "San Francisco Giants" baseball game. They have one of the most beautiful and enjoyable stadiums, and the best fans. Lots of people and families singing, dancing, and having a great time!
…A "boat tour" is also wonderful.
So glad you came to visit the United States. We even speak English!
It’s whoever gets to the stop sign first, goes first. It’s really fun when you get there at the same time as someone and you both just stare at eachother to see who’s going to go first 😂
6:05 is that the same lobster place you guys at in that small town?
Wow, the top of the golden gate bridge sticking out with a sailboat in the foreground would have been one of the best photography shot
Glad you met Karl the fog. Wouldn't be a trip to SF without that.
Glad you guys had fun 🥰
The fortune cookie you received in Chinatown was actually invented in Kyoto, Japan in the 1800's. It was known as tsujiura senbei. It was brought to the US by Japanese immigrants and made popular by Mikoto Hagiwara, manager of the Japanese Tea Garden in San Francisco in the early 1900's. It is believed that simultaneously, it was introduced by Seiichi Kito of the Fugetsu-Do confection shop in Little Tokyo, in Los Angeles. The cookie was very popular. During World War II, people of Japanese descent were put into Internment Camps. Chinese immigrants took advantage of the opening in production due to Japanese internment and began offering them in Chinese restaurants. They have since become synonymous with Chinese restaurants, but their true origin is Japanese, including having the cookie offered in a variety of flavors.
As a Californian first of all thank you for visiting our state, I’d also like to recommend Santa Barbara and Carmel-by-the-Sea for your next visit
In the summer see Kennebunkport Maine, In the early spring see Savannah , Georgia and Charleston South Carolina. ou will be amazed.
