It took me 3 days to make this New York City vlog. I would say you can explore the museums around Manhattan in 1 day but 2 days is ideal. Just depends on how many museums and sites you really want to visit. Central Park could easily take a half day. Same with Lower Manhattan. I would say 4 days to explore New York City is ideal.

American museum of natural history is on the west side and the metropolitan museum of art is on the east side. Also the Brooklyn bridge connects Manhattan to Brooklyn bit to long island

great video! i really enjoyed the stunning visuals and information about NYC. however, i can't help but feel like some attractions are a bit overrated. i mean, does everyone really need to see Times Square? it seems a little too crowded and touristy for my taste.

If you've never been to NYC, it's cool to do some of the touristee type stuff (Rockefeller Center, Times Square, Broadway, etc.) but the best thing you can do is just walk into a random pizza place. Don't waste time waiting in line at a stop like Joe's (Which has a massive line) when there are literally hundreds of pizza spots in NYC that will provide one of the best slices you've ever had. Also, we as locals what spots they like and we haven't been disappointed. Keep in mind, it's NYC so watch out for scams (Characters looking to take photos/people trying to give you "free" stuff- they will hassle you for tips)
