  3. One additional free place to go in Chicago has to be the National Museum of Puerto Rican Arts & Culture (NMPRAC), the only Puerto Rican museum outside of the Caribbean island. Opens Tuesdays through Saturdays. Also features a gift shop to support the smallish museum that's inside an historic two-floor house (sadly I don't remember the name) in Humboldt Park. Worthy of a visit.

  4. As a native some places I knew about, some I didn't- they're also great ideas for dates! The building that Lagunitas brewery is in used to be occupied by Ryerson Steel factory, not crazy about the brewery itself but I do like their cozy sitting areas. If you plan on visiting the Mexican Fine Arts museum, parking is limited, you'll have better luck taking an UBER. I'll need to stop in some of these spots and enjoy my city, good to see somebody from Chi-town on YouTube, good luck with your channel!#Subscribed

  5. @Ronald Ronquillo…You are so right, I'm native born Chicagoan and Luis is amazing!! We're coming home this March and I'm making a ton of notes. Thank you Luis and your lovely girlfriend!!!

  6. I’ve been bingeing all of your Chicago vids. As a Chicagoan, I can’t believe how many things I wasn’t aware of. Anytime out of town guests ask me for travel tips, sending them to your vids is a no-brainer. Great resources!

  7. The Oriental Institute is one of the least known but most impressive museums in the city and it's totally free. There are exhibits from prehistory, Babylonia, and Egypt.

  8. I am from the European Union, Romania, I have and I want to say that I like American cities the most, in fact, all of America, you have everything you need, here the relief forms are magnificent

  9. I greatly appreciate your videos! My husband and I plan to move to Chicago, were nervous but your videos really help sooth us by educating us on Chicago!

  10. Hi Luis! I simply love your videos and suggestions! Travelling to Chicago this coming july, which is for u an ideal area to stay? We are a family of 5 from Argentina. Thank u!!!!!

  11. Really love your tone and passion for Chicago. Been here from L.A for 3 years and planning on doing your recommendations once things are back open. Thanks. Love your channel.

  12. Nice video! I live in Machesney Park, IL. I have spent a lot of time wandering the city exploring. About 5 years ago, I even joined the Chicago Architecture Foundation. For the last 10 years, about every few months, I give city tours for guest of the Company that I work at. Since a lot of them are from foreign countries, the language barrier can be difficult and lead to some funny stories. These are some other free places: The French Market at Ogilvie Transportation Center, Walk through area Chinatown, Money Museum at Federal Reserve Bank, The Chicago Temple (First United Methodist Church of Chicago), Bahai Temple, Union Station, Marshalls Fields Stained Glass Collection in the Pedway, The Pedway (good if it is cold or raining outside), OZ park. Also do not forget Grant Park With Buckingham Fountain, Agora and Queen's Landing.
