I used to go to Vegas back in the 70's and 80's when it was still fun and affordable. After corporate got involved, I stopped going. In my opinion, the entirety of Las Vegas is one HUGE tourist trap. Nothing's affordable and it really isn't much fun anymore. Street vendors at every turn, being hustled by literally everyone and the vibe is nothing like it used to be.
great info! thanks!
Didn't even mention the Red Rooster! We've heard that they've gone downhill from when we lived in Vegas. Oh well…
I finally fullfilled my dream last year and went to Vegas
Absolute waste of money.
Dirty, boring and those hotels are just so outdated. Need a revamp for today's kids i.e cars hotel, Barbie hotel Mario hotel.
You two are a cute couple, and the video was fun and informative! Good job!
I 100% appreciate this video and agreeing with it! Chris Angel is a great magician… But his stage show was horrible! The slot Zila zip line is a must do in my opinion! I hope people listen to what you are saying and understand that what you are sharing is very true and will make their trip to Vegas, more successful and pleasurable!
Call me a dud. Nothing makes me say “I GOTTA see THAT!”, which is odd because I live in Hawaii, where everybody and their grandma vacation in Vegas.
I pass.
one great thing is a scooter 3 or 4 wheel units from las vegas scooter or any hotel has there own scooter , why the scooters, well going on the tram, its a cheaper ticket then without the scooter due to the fact your handicapped ? to proof this a copy of your registration and or placket together proofs your handicapped, i know most are stating that it cost money? right it does, but some shows like the old love show at the mirage people waiting for seats and we showed up with 20 scooters and plugged them in and got in first due to the fact WERE HANDICAPPED WE ALL SAT IN THE FRONT ROW?????? GOING ON THE FERRIS WHEEL LYNX HOTEL, FIRST IN LINE, EVERY PLACE THAT IS HANDICAPPED FRIENDLY YOUR FIRST IN LINE, BUFFET, DINNERS , SHOWS, THE HOTELS AND SHOWS IN THE HOTEL CATER TO THE HANDICAPPED FIRST, REASON IS THE HOTEL SHOW A HELPING HAND TO THEM?
Thank you for this video. I went to Las Vegas many times prior to 2006 when it was visitor friendly and offered value for your money. Now it seems to cater to the rich and is definitely overpriced and a gouging trap.
Yowza for me as a kiwi girl that's pretty much double nz currency 😢
Thanks. I was thinking about visiting. No thanks
I love you guys.❤
You're not kidding about the Vegas heat. I was there on business a couple weeks ago and it was brutal, I was ok in the shade but step into the sunshine and it was horrid.
I highly suggest the Atomic Museum (National Atomic Testing Museum). The tickets have gone way up since we visited in 2012 ($14 back then, $29 now). Full of Smithsonian-quality artifacts, dioramas, installations, videos, full-size mock-ups, plaques and even a small theater that brings nuclear detonation as close to you being there as you'll probably ever want to get. It's the opposite of a tourist trap.
That exact same thing happened to us. They waisted our whole day trying to sell us a timeshare all for free Chris Angel tickets it literally took all day.
Sorry, the US will have to wait for us until the orange cultleader is out, and all his acolytes too… Until that day comes, if ever, it will be Europe, South America, Canada and Asia for us…
Las Vegas is fascinating to me because it is so worthless but some people love it. Been there a few times on company dime but always thought meh. It is a city to walk through and just look at (mostly at night from April to mid October). The Hoover Dam area is beautiful and worth a full day exploring. If you don't like gambling and/or have low expectations for live shows nothing there to keep your interest more than 3 days. Go for a specific residency of an artist you love, or a sporting event. My PTO would have to be doubled and income tripled to spend money and time on everything popular and permeant here except The Sphere. 😊
Those food prices are beyond insane
I remember when the e pensive buffets were $10 per person, all you can eat, unlimited non alcoholic drinks
god.. its so expsinve.. i'd rather spend the money and just fly to bangkok or something actully fun.
Thank you for the informative video! I’ve always wanted to visit Las Vegas one day
That Bellagio buffet at 70$ is DIABOLICAL🤣🤣🤣🤣
Let the man do some talk 😂
I had two "showgirls" ask me if I wanted a picture. I said sure. After the picture they told me it was $40. I told them, I'll deduct it from my $100 fee and the two of you can just give me $60. They were confused and said this is how we make our living. This is our job.
I said, yeah, well I make my living posing as a tourist and charging scam artists $100 for a picture with me. So pay up.
They made a bunch of nasty comments about me and flipped me the bird as they walked away.
Hello I've watched a lot of your guys content. I was wondering if you guys would like to do a review video on off-road tours in vegas? There are a bunch and reviewing them would help people to decide which is the best. Please reach out to me I would love for you guys to come out and try ours and others in the Las vegas area.
I highly recommend seeing The Mob Museum in North Vegas, off of Fremont St., at least once. Admission is about $35. You can spend several hours there exploring three floors of well-done exhibits, including the actual St. Valentine Massacre wall.
I lived in CA over 25 yrs and I had been going to Vegas many times, for 5 or 6 years before COVID the pricing was getting out of control but I went back after COVID twice (2nd time because of business) and just couldn't believe how insanely expensive everything was, and I mean there's expensive *because it's a really nice food, product or service and then there's just overpriced rip offs and once you include all the fees; trust me Vegas is not worth it for anybody who wants value for their money.
Mmmmm-hmmmmm
Las Vegas is immortal because it doesn't just sell entertainment, but feeds on a human need that will never disappear: the illusion of winning."
great lets get the truth
Thanks for the video.
Where I live in Michigan there are several casinos so I have no reason to go to Vegas and pay 26 dollars for a bottle of water
I couldn't resist laughing watching him nodding the whole time shes talking😂, he definitely should get more involved
Oh yeah. Akhab is a light bathing experience in the Louis Vuitton store which is magic but very expensive
There’s a pinball machine museum where you can play any of scores of pinball machines. That was cool.
