As a native New Yorker, I have to say you did a great job with this tourist video! I’d suggest adding the High Line, accessible in the Meatpacking District, which ends at the Vessel. It’s a wonderful garden built on an abandoned elevated railway, and right underneath is the fantastic Whitney Art Museum. For classic New York pizza, head to Lombardi's on Spring Street or John's on Bleecker Street. The Metropolitan Museum of Art is, in my opinion, the best art museum in the world—even better than the British Museum, the Louvre, and the Prado in Spain! While the Empire State Building offers a great view, the Top of the Rock at Rockefeller Center, where they broadcast Saturday Night Live, is even better. And just a tip: don’t spend too much time in Times Square—we locals aren’t fans, and there are pickpockets, so be careful. If you visit our city, have fun, skip the chain restaurants, go local, and don’t stare up too much or look the wrong people in the eye—you’ll avoid attracting trouble.

What sold me: the Main Street Park. Also, the nightlife and the Oculus and the local bookstores. As a musician NY is a dream. If I ever have to move from Biloxi, Mississippi……. that’s easy: NYC Washington Heights area.
