Welcome to Seattle, a vibrant and dynamic city nestled in the Pacific Northwest, known for its stunning natural beauty and rich cultural scene. Whether you’re an adventure seeker, a foodie, or a culture enthusiast, Seattle has something to offer everyone.
Start your visit with an iconic landmark, the Space Needle. This futuristic observation tower offers breathtaking panoramic views of the city, the surrounding mountains, and the Puget Sound. It’s a must-visit for any traveler to Seattle.
Down by the Seattle Waterfront, you’ll find a bustling area filled with shops, restaurants, and scenic views. Take a leisurely stroll along the piers, visit the famous Pike Place Market for fresh seafood and local crafts, and don’t forget to catch a ride on the Great Wheel for another fantastic view of the city.
For sports fans, Seattle is home to several top-tier arenas. Lumen Field hosts exciting football games with the Seattle Seahawks, while T-Mobile Park is the place to catch a Mariners baseball game. Both venues provide an electric atmosphere and are a great way to experience the local sports culture.
Seattle’s culinary scene is a food lover’s paradise. From fresh seafood at local markets to gourmet dining in the city’s numerous restaurants, there’s something to satisfy every palate. Don’t miss trying the Pacific Northwest specialties, including salmon and Dungeness crab.
When it comes to lodging, Seattle offers a wide range of options, from luxury hotels to cozy boutique inns. Whether you prefer staying in the heart of downtown or in one of the charming neighborhoods, you’ll find the perfect place to rest after a day of exploring.
Art and science enthusiasts will be delighted with the Chihuly Garden and Glass, an exhibit featuring the stunning glass artwork of Dale Chihuly. The vibrant, intricate glass sculptures are a visual feast and offer a unique cultural experience.
The Pacific Science Center is another must-visit, especially for families. It features interactive exhibits, a planetarium, and an IMAX theater, making it an educational and entertaining stop for visitors of all ages.
Seattle is also rich in museums. The Museum of Pop Culture (MoPOP) offers fascinating exhibits on music, sci-fi, and pop culture, while the Seattle Art Museum (SAM) showcases a diverse collection of art from around the world. Additionally, the Museum of Flight is a must for aviation enthusiasts, with its extensive collection of aircraft and space artifacts.
Seattle seamlessly blends natural beauty with urban sophistication, making it an ideal destination for a perfect weekend getaway. Whether you’re admiring the view from the Space Needle, indulging in fresh seafood, or exploring the city’s diverse cultural offerings, Seattle is sure to leave you with unforgettable memories.

I leave tomorrow for a 3 day trip, and am stoked. I'm sad they removed the Nirvana exhibit at MoPop, but I'll still have a TON to see and do.
Great vid! I'm glad you enjoyed Seattle.
It’s a shame that the graffiti is everywhere, especially along route 5, and abandoned buildings around the city. I still enjoyed the waterfront, Pikes Market, Space Needle, and Columbia Center Sky View bar. Homeless were visible in the tourist areas but not as many as I thought there would be.

I know what I’m doing in Seattle. Great video ❤
We are going for a vacation to Seattle this September and plan to avoid Pike Place at all costs as well as most all downtown. We plan on exploring the surrounding area but have no interest in dealing with the tourist traps, homeless, and crime.
That's 47 1/2 hours too long. I live too close to Seattle and the half hour it takes to drive thru the town is 15 min too long. Drugs, tents, graffiti, looney toon
druggies wandering around, not enough police, it is not safe to wander Seattle. Park your car at any large Name Brand hotel and it will still be either broken
into or stolen. Visit some other city. You have been warned.
That Starbucks in Pike Place Market that so many people flock to believing it is the first ever Starbucks? It's not. The first-ever Starbucks was a few blocks away on Western Avenue in a building that has since been demolished. Sorry. It is, however the oldest existing Starbucks. Now go get your coffee somewhere else, cuz Starbucks is not the best coffee you can find in Seattle.
What time of year was this ? Sorry if I missed it. Also what time were you at the market ? I am thinking of going Friday morning literally heading there like 7:30-8 … hoping it’s less busy.
The best thing I did in Seattle was to leave 15 years ago after spending 50 years there. What a shithole its become
Hi Jason and Kim, great video about Seattle! Since we retired in Colorado (after leaving Seattle), we spend about half our travel time vlogging in US National and State Parks, and we spend the other half filming in Japan. We hope to travel to the PNW again sometime this year! Thanks for sharing your experiences. We subscribed to your channel!
My home town born and raised 51 years.
Pike Place. Not Pikes
Seattle is the ass hole of Washington. Don’t bother.
#1 best thing to do in Seattle is … LEAVE!
Go hang out on Pike and 3rd.
Why did the original Starbucks store shut down. Un safe for their employees and customers.
Mamuni ❤
I’ve been in Seattle nearly 20 years and work downtown and don’t see things nearly as bad as some like to say. Yes, a few pockets of homeless congregation w/ some drug use, but that’s pretty much any large city. I’ve never felt unsafe, but I would keep aware to avoid possible random havoc. But I do that ANYWHERE!
Great video, thanks! Do you remember what section your seats were in at the Mariner’s game? We’re taking a trip out there in May and want to catch a game. I don’t know the stadium, but it looked like you were in a good location. Looked like maybe a terrace level?
Pike Place is magical
Can't help but notice a lot of Seattle propoganda rn. Real people visiting this city seem to have the exact opposite opinion 😂
Don't forget about the homeless. The drugs and addicts . This is sugar coating.
Hiiii! Civil engineering student here, can’t help but point out, the glass used in the Space Needle renovation is not plexiglass. It is high-strength structural and laminated glass, engineered specifically for durability, safety, and clarity. Unlike plexiglass, which is a type of lightweight plastic (acrylic), the glass in the Space Needle is made of multiple layers of tempered and laminated glass, providing unparalleled strength and a premium aesthetic.
This specialized glass can support heavy loads, withstand environmental stress, and maintain its clarity over time, unlike plexiglass, which scratches and degrades more easily. The advanced materials were chosen to meet the high safety standards required for a structure.
I LOVED this video! You both are so nice to listen to! 💕 adventure safely 🙏
Seattle looks so spectacular.
Much thanks 🥰
Greetings from Utah .
Thanks for an informational honest review to share👍
Thank you for the great whirlwind tour of Seattle! I live here and I still haven't been to a couple of these places. LOL That said, I will endeavor to check them out. I appreciate your candor and your attention to detail. Bravo!
Can't wait to visit next year 😊
Surprised you survived

Thank you for this video! I am leaving next week for Seattle, going on my first solo trip and needed something besides the proverbial places to go to. The Butterfly House is the perfect spot for me!
As a western WA lifelong resident:
If you think downtown seattle is great now, a) you’re not from here. b) you’ve been here for 10 mins.
Good ole democrap city going to crap…. Keep on keeping on Washington.
More people in tents than in houses there. Companies closing stores and leaving the state.
Great video with no dawdling or over analyzing a cup of chowder or a chinese stuffed bun.
My wife and i are planning a 4-5 day trip to Seattle next Sept or Oct to see the sights and hopefully catch a Seahawks game. We're not betting on sunshine, so anything goes
I’m visiting Seattle in 3 weeks and I already have a rental car booked. By any chance do you know what’s the closest parking lot I can park at when going to pike place market and then just walk the rest to get there? In my case uber and Lyft would cost me $70-90 each time I leave my Airbnb and try to head to Pike Place market. My cost of a car rental is the same cost of one trip to my Airbnb from the airport lol it makes zero sense, it’s not even that far it’s only about 20-25 minutes from pike place market.
❤❤❤❤
멍 때리기 조은 도시
All BS why didn't you show downtown Seattle don't let this vid fool you crime is rampant due to defunding of the police.
