  1. Born, bred and raised Bostonian here…..the ducks are a riff on the children’s Pulitzer Prize book,”Make Way For Ducklings “…it took place in the Boston Commons.

  2. Couple of comments: the Common dates from the 1630’s and you’ve missed the significance of the ducks, and John Hancock signed the Declaration of Independence not the Constitution. Across the street from the Opera House (Hamilton) is a Legal Seafood restaurant. Excellent quality for half the price you paid

  3. I lived in MA for about 35 yrs before moving to NC. You definitely hit some great places as first timers. A couple things:
Pizza Regina in Faneuil Hall is just not the same as the one in the North End. They have Pizza Regina in some malls too and it is just not the same. Also, I wouldn't say they are the best pizza either plus there are a couple different styles of pizza in MA (i.e. Bar Pie on the South Shore) as well. There is some good pizza all over MA, way better than down here in NC
Dinner in the North End is great, there about 100 (mostly) Italian restaurants there. We used to go at least once a year and it's almost impossible to find a bad one.
Love the Bell in Hand…summer day, windows open, and getting a seat at the window…the best
For beer…Trillium and Tree House. Trillium has a couple good spots in Boston and Tree House has a place in the Prudential Center. Tree House is one of the top breweries in the country (great taprooms outside the city)
I know Fenway wasn't an option for this trip but next time it is a must! Another thing I miss.
A couple food things that are a little unique: North Shore Roast Beef Sandwich, Steak Tips, Whole Belly Fried Clams

Definitely a great city but I certainly do not miss the weather and the traffic!

  4. Boston is sort of like an amusement park. I wish other cities would put more thought into making them special. But one thing I hate about tourist videos is all the eating. Truly we should start downplaying the idea of eating on vacation. It isn't good for us and the prices are insane.

  6. I grew up in Portland,Maine, and they have Dunkin’ Donuts everywhere! When I was a child, my dad used to take me there for hot chocolate, and donuts! The smell of freshly brewed coffee was the first thing you would smell when you opened the door, unfortunately, not anymore! Still like Dunkin’ Donuts, however there are much better donuts elsewhere, such as, Holy Donuts, in Portland, and Rt. 1 in Saco! ❤️❤️

  7. I've been watching your videos for some time and enjoy your adventures and authenticity and humor. This post is a bit late, but as a (nearly) lifelong resident of Massachusetts, the next time you visit Boston (also check out Cape Cod and the Berkshires if you get a chance), you must have a "Florentine" cannoli at Mike's Pastry (the best) and also try a North Shore Roast Beef Sandwich (3 way) next time you are out this way. Cheers and look forward to your adventures in 2026.

  8. Late to the party, but what a trip. I miss living in Boston now that I'm about an hour away. The food tour was great. Everything looked so good. The 2lb lobster roll was nuts, but actually good value when a standard lobster roll is usually 5oz. Always love people enjoying my hometown. Will have to check out the cruise vlogs now.

  9. I haven't been to Boston in about 35 years, but i'll never forget that I had the best spaghetti in the italian district…. I don't think I could find it again though, and I certainly can't remember the name. I've been wanting to take Scott to Boston for awhile.

  10. If you guys come to Boston again check out the Duck Tour. It’s a fun and informative tour on an amphibious vehicle that goes into the Charles river!

Glad to see you got to visit my hometown! Dunkin’s is trash btw. lol. Only good if you have nowhere else to go. Plus you can get that garbage in Vegas anyway. lol. Try Kane’s Donuts! The huge lobster roll you got is not the norm. I don’t mean the size, I just mean a regular lobster roll never comes on a sub roll (we call hoagies or heroes subs (short for submarine) here.

Also rent a car for the day and go to Gloucester, Ipswich or Essex for seafood!

Ernesto’s in the North End has the best pizza in that area IMO.

Hopefully I’ll run into you guys in Vegas. Round on me! lol.
