  1. Thank you very much for the tour of Washington DC anyway AG Pam Bondi Karoline Leavitt President Trump and VP Vance never talked to me its too far from Southern California to washington DC even l Natural Born America James Lewis Jowitt Junior born in Pomona in May 6, 1956 All of you won't responce to me so l decided against it

  2. At this point if l.coming from Southern Caifornia to Washington DC its not worth the trip l will pass on this by James Lewis Jowitt born in Pomona Ca in May 6, 1956 it better to listen to people that do know that is best

  3. Don't forget to eat at Saratoga Family Restaurant (Greek and Italian Food), at Saratoga Shopping Cener on Rolling Rd. in Springfield VA 22153. Peking Duck at Duck Chiang's on Little River Turnpike Annandale, VA 22003 introduced the dish in the U.S.A. I don't get any money from either of them, or Five Guys.

  4. "The Smithsonian" could also mean the "Smithsonian Castle," the red brick turreted building behind you. It's connected underground to the S. Dillon Ripley Center (the small domed building next to it), the Freer Gallery (which has the closest public bathrooms to the Smithsonian Metro), the Sackler Gallery, and the Museum of African Art, but the passageways aren't always open.

  5. March 2025 update: Another DON'T. . .Don't go the National Air and Space Museum (NASM) without a timed ticket. These tickets are available on the Museum website and will be sent to your phone as a text. They are required to control the number of guests each day. And a bonus DO. . .come to NASM's Udvar -Hazi center located 35 miles west of DC. No tickets required (but $15 to park)! I give tours in both places.

  6. I went there for the inauguration. Who the heck says the Metro is dirty? That was such a beautiful and clean transit option. The one thing that tripped me out was how you with the pay to get off the train. I have never known that to be a thing ever in life.

  7. THANK YOU!!! yes! Stand to the right!
I'm a native-born and raised here and I live two blocks from a SUBWAY station. You can say subway, as "Metro" is the system that encompasses Metrobuses and Metro Trains

  8. great advice

i clicked into this expecting a laugh but found this spot on instead

    ❤️

i lived in dc for 40 yrs and there’s a bit of proprietorial ownership locals get from being in the nation’s capital (that sometimes is treated like the nation’s crapital by bold outsiders visiting “their capital”)

i get it, but it’s one of those things where they’re both right, and both wrong 🇺🇸

  9. im 6 years late but I as a fellow dc native love this vid. can't tell you how annoying it gets trying to get to work and tourist need to watch this to avoid feeling like your in New York lol were peaceful here for the most part but can get rowdy when annoyed just like Philly and ny.

  10. There has been a lot of talk in New York where people have made broad statements about being involved with the shooting of trump plus other stuff on Facebook regarding that also ..I've been wondering if DC is in some kind of lockdown right now it started about 6 years ago over here been going on ever since for 6years then trump got shot which people in New York said they were part of ..so they clone people in. DC for specific attacks in USA soil .like over here ??

  11. 12:09 I currently live on Fort Meade, outside of Odenton MD, wanna learn about how the railroads of yore shaped America, Odenton is a great example, that and the suburbs of Seabrook and Bowie (Bowie State to MARC Travelers) are some examples of a city built by a railroad, and say what you want, But if you don’t like history, DC probably ain’t for you friend, locals don’t call it America’s Historical Home for nothing

  12. Don’t come to Dc in the summer….its the annual humidity festival.
Don’t come during cherry blossom peak in spring. It’s VERY crowded. But spring IS beautiful.
Smithsonian is NOT one building! It’s many and they are all free.
Have fun, it’s not like ANY other city!
