This was so entertaining.
Impressive skills.
Definitely sharing this.
Absolutely loved it.
The best part of my day.
Can't wait for the next one.
This deserves endless applause.
Done Rattlesnake, Twin Falls from both directions- Franklin Falls, Mount Si and Mount Pilchuck and Big Four Ice Caves. Good inspiration for the rest!
Thanks for the inspiration! Adding Lewis River Falls to my list after seeing that recommendation in the comments. Now I just need to book that flight to Seattle…
Hi Michael, this came across my feed! What an inspiring vidéo! D. StewART
All trails says Tolmie Peak is indefinitely closed 😢. I really wanna do #6 but I won't have time to do that on my trip. #7 Franklin Falls was on my personal list of one of the doable hikes considering the list of things I want to see in Seattle. Likely will try and hit #4 High Rock Lookout on my way up there from Oregon. I have heard It's a great short hike and view. Mt. Rainer and Paradise and those trails are the best trails and scenic views I've witnessed so far!
Thanks for putting this together! Definitely adding some of these to my list; maybe I'll see you on the trails!
So many awesome waterfall hikes that really aren't that far from Seattle.
I live in kirkland right outside of seattle and I 100% degree with rattle snake being number one. I have gone and a 5 yearold and as a 13 year old and it is always so fun!
thank u for this video!! did u talk about round trips or just one way? so i have to multiple every times you said how many miles it takes to finish one trail.
do u know if we can get to any of these hike trails by public transportation?
my top 3 are Tolmie peak, High rock and Franklin falls.
thank you!!
Im going to Seatle soon and lookin for good trails awesome vid
Sauk mountain, tipso lake loop, and oyster dome are pretty sweet too
I'm moving to Seattle in the next few weeks, it's legal to use drones? I thought they were basically banned all over in national and state parks.
These are BABY hikes, not day hikes. Jeepers.
No Mt. Dickerman? Bruh…
As someone that has lived out here on the the plateau for 21 years, yes it is a beautiful state. It is not a great, beautiful, fun or safe city. Seattle is in fact a cesspool. The first 10 years I lived here that was not the case. It has changed for the worse. Lots of reasons why, none of which had to be. A series of unforced errors by the city and King County. That aside, from 4th of July through late Sept or early October, depending on the year, Washington State is one of the nicest places to experience mountainous wilderness.
10 days is very long for a hike!🤣
Jee ..my anxiety
thanks for the vid – completely agree, Rattlesnake Ledge is the perfect gateway hike, I love watching first timers get to the top with the "holy cr@p, I just climbed a f'n mountain!" expression on their faces. One quick FYI, the access road to Pilchuck is closed this year for maintenance, (but it's awesome as well, just be ready for the boulder scramble to the very top.)
Walking to the Vance Creek Bridge is allowed even though goes through private property. You must stay on the easement through the private property. Actually walking on the bridge is not allowed because of the danger. The AllTrails website has a description of the hike and recent trip reports.
When is the best time to go to pilchuck ?
Outstanding video – thank you for the miles and elevation.
Literally SHOCKED you said Rattlesnake, could not disagree more. I will literally never do that hike again its just not worth it. Also its only a day hike from Seattle if you can drive there, hike it, and drive back in one day. Something that is 3 hours away is not a day hike.
