Is it worth signing up for a bus or trolley tour when you visit Washington, DC? Tours are great but make sure that it has a good human tour guide!

Since the Circulator has been discontinued now, what do you recommend? We’ll be visiting in early July so I believe it’s not going to be pleasant to walk everywhere in the heat
Absolutely right!
I just visited DC and loved your tips. The only one I didn’t like so much was the monuments at night suggestion. The pathways are terribly lit up and the monuments could have been better lit also. Not nearly a nice to see compared to day time. If the lighting were better I think it would be great.
I watched your videos before taking a trip to DC last year and you really helped. I went on a great tour with a tour guide that walked with us and explained things, and it ended with a boat ride. It was not that expensive and it was so much fun!
What about Christmas bus tours designed to stop at iconic locations for photo ops?
