What was your favorite food from the video? Which San Diego spots should I visit when I go back? Let me know below! 👇
Warning:
Vietnam coffee take one slip, and you'll be looking for the restrooms 😮😂
From my experience still order them..
oooo im driving to the dagos for a tyler the creator concert I needed this for my visit THANK YOU
I can't with that macha croissant at Asa, it looked like guacamole 😂
Great Video Thank you
I came upon this video as I was looking for places to eat in San Diego. I really like that you posted prices in the video and the addresses in the transcript. Great job.
Thank you for the beautiful video! Have a wonderful day!
Poke etc is my all time favorite !
I totally saw you that day in formoosa lol!!! I was trying to figure out if it was really you or not because youre normally up in the bay but now i know it was you!!
Formoosa is one of my faves!! Hope you enjoyed sd 🙂 im a bay area native too!
Thanks so much for visiting spots in National City that don't normally get a lot of attention in these kinds of videos highlighting San Diego's cuisine!!
So, many new places for me to try! Taco Stand is AWESOME! Their carne asada fries are da bomb!
I'd recommend skipping Keep Coffee and going to a different coffee shop. Recs: Holsem Coffee, Saigon Coffee, Seven Seas Coffee Roasting, Dark Horse Coffee Roasters, S3 Coffee Bar, Provecho Coffee, and Jaunt Coffee Roasters.
Izola is expensive but I do like their vanilla tahitian knot. ASA Bakery is great, I recommend their Curry Pan and the Chocolate Orange Croissant.
She’s a genuine Foodie.
You’ve totally missed out on wayfarer bread!
So many delicous looking dishes but California prices are absolutely insane lol.
I love Mike's, but 2 tacos for 15 is crazy lol
Loveeee San Diego and that croissant looked amazinggg
YEA!¡
Meimei thanks for highlighting San Diego and giving me a reason to explore my city but I wish you would include the addresses of the restaurants but still
BIG UPS
SD Native.
I approve. Feels like you consulted some locals on this
I felt like Formoosa was incredibly average and overpriced. They also falsified their yelp rating. I don’t know what happed to 8th & b when I went but the fish was so hard! I was honestly shocked given the reputation. The flavors were great though.
I’m really excited to try Coco bomb. That’s a new one for me.
Why do I ALWAYS watch food vids at 2 am? Now I'm starving ❤
You definitely got some rexommendations from locals for sure! Watched your video because its been a while since we explored our own town, yiu definitely hit up the OGs and some new ones ee definitely want to try! Thank you for shouting out SD!
Need to try these places and food!!!! Yummy
Next time visit UTC mall tons of restaurants and shopping. I recommend Puestos (La Jolla location is the best) Copper Kings Burgers and Muay Thai Kitchen both located in N. County.
Ooo love! Thank you for giving so many good recommendations! Next time you’re in town may I recommend
-La Playa Tacos (a little hole in the wall shop in PB)
-Starry Lane Bakery (the BEST allergy friendly bakery in town imo, you have GOT to try their fresh bread and brownie).
-Kono’s breakfast spot (there’s a tourist and “local” spot so two locations but the exact same menu!)
As a FOODIE born and raised in San Diego, you went to all the best spots that was almost like little holes in the wall but sooo good. Poke 8th & B is my dad’s friends shop!! Loved this video
Ever since Orobae in Irvine closed, Yun Tea has been my place to go for boba
You’re my “go to” when it comes to honest and comprehensive reviews. Light, cheery, straight to the point. Hope you enjoyed your stay in our neck of the woods!
Best birria tacos in San Diego are at Ed Fernandez Birrieria. Tacos Revolución. Best rolled tacos at Los Taquitos on Third and Main in Chula Vista. You gotta go to south San Diego for the best Mexican food.
Good call on Menya ultra, best Ramen in San Diego, hands down!
Love your attitude and commentary. I grew up in SD but hadn't been back in a while, visited my parents and stopped by 3 places here thanks to your reccs! Much love!
Try Tulum in Mira Mesa. Authentic Mexican seafood with a Cali twist. Their fish taco is the best I've ever had to date.
Wow, I live in San Diego and you really chose great spots! Some that I know or and a few that I need to check out
