  1. Nice video of San Francisco, California. Too Close For Comfort television show in 1980's took place in San Francisco with Ted Knight(RIP). Ted Knight did television commercials for Southgate shopping center in Maple, Ohio in my hometown Cleveland, Ohio in 1980's. I like movies Another 48 Hours with Eddie Murphy and Nick Nolte, 48 Hours with Eddie Murphy and Nick Nolte, Metro with Eddie Murphy, Carmen Ejogo, Art Evans(RIP), The Dead Pool with Clint Eastwood and Liam Neeson, Sudden Impact with Clint Eastwood and Sondra Locke(RIP), Dirty Harry with Clint Eastwood, Magnum Force with Clint Eastwood that was filmed in San Francisco. Why does San Francisco have so many hills on streets people have to drive cars? LOL. That's my only problem with San Francisco. I never been to San Francisco. I wanna visit San Francisco. I like Golden State Warriors basketball players Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Chris Webber, Tim Hardaway, Latrell Sprewell, Jason Richardson. Golden State basketball team is in San Francisco. I was happy my hometown basketball team Cleveland Cavs beat Golden State in NBA basketball finals in 2016 with Cleveland basketball players Lebron James, Kyrie Irving, JR Smith, Kevin Love, Tristan Thompson. I'll never get a chance to visit San Francisco because i can't get a job with lots of money. I haven't had a job in 7 years because white people don't like my jobs resume. I'll watch this video if i never get to San Francisco.

  2. Bravo to you for using public transportation and the Clipper Card. Your uncle is doing well to get his senior Clipper Card.

Something to know about: the term "painted ladies" refers to any beautifully painted Victorian building. It's not limited to that one row that faces Alamo Square Park. At 10:06, when you say, "The higher you go here in the park, the better the view," you are NOT showing the view from Alamo Square Park; that is Mission Dolores Park, which is more than a mile away.

Pier 39 and Fisherman's Wharf are nothing but tourist traps. When people visit me, I tell them how to get there and that I'll see them later.

Only newcomers and tourists call the fog Karl.

Those bikes are handy. Good on ya for using and promoting those.

You didn't need to get bottled water at CVS; we have excellent drinking water here. Save your money and use less plastic.

The hotel is right on the border of the Financial District and Chinatown, where the two meet.

Ferry Building is overpriced food. You mentioned Señor Sisig there. My guess is that the prices at the Mission District location on Valencia Street are cheaper.

  3. I visited from the UK in September last yr. Heard all about the problems, spent 6 nights, but didn't deter me from having a great time. Absolutely loved San Francisco, definitely worth a visit. Good video Jay. My favourite excursion was the Red & White Ferry cruise Which takes u from Pier 39 I think, which last 90 mins to under Golden Gate Bridge, then past Alcatraz and onto the Oakland Bay Bridge and back

  4. My issue with the Bay Area has always been its predatory affluence and NIMBYism. THAT’s the problem. But it is indeed beautiful. Hopefully the tech bros haven’t chased out all the good locals, and sanitized away all the culture.

  5. I watched Waymo drive around the city for a few years and it was so slow, driving behind it through Golden Gate Park so I was skeptical to try it. I've tried it twice now and it does feel pretty safe. Slightly pricier than Uber or Lyft but you also don't have to tip so it even's out.

  6. Dude I was just there in July for the first time in 14 years and did pretty much the same things you did lol Food is fire .. the views!!! Nxt time hoping to catch a warrior game in the fall/winter

  7. Hey Jay looking fresh. Thanks for the love from the last video. San Francisco looks nice. I hope u had fun spending time with ur uncle. Good video and keep up the good work. Your friend alita from Fayetteville nc

  8. I love SF, no major problems going on (none that other major cities don't face anyway), that's just maga fantasies lol. I grew up in San Jose, aka "Silicon Valley", which is part of the San Francisco Bay Area; we touch the south shore of San Francisco Bay. I go up to SF often, as Caltrain or BART will get you there in about an hour. I never learned how to drive, since we have a great public transit system here in the Bay Area.

These are the big things that I do on a regular basis when going up there:
-Exploratorium (you were REALLY close to this! It's at Pier 15!)
    -California Academy of Sciences
    -SF Zoo
    -DeYoung Museum

That's in addition to bowling and miniature golf, but neither of those are really unique to SF 🙂

The Flyer at Pier 39 is pretty cool, but it's not something that's going to feel new and unique after repeated visits…I'd definitely suggest trying it once though. 🙂

  9. Alcatraz – recommend getting your tickets early, it can be sold out especially during the peak summer season.

Pier 39 – recommend Fog Harbor restaurant, a classy place where you can have any of the iconic foods of the City.

Painted Ladies – good move to take Waymo, since that location is a prime car break-in site.

No cable car ride? It’s a must-do for a tourist, and the California Street line (close to the Financial District and goes along the outside of Chinatown) is less crowded than the popular Powell-Hyde or Powell-Mason line.

Golden Gate Bridge? Walking it, 1.7 miles each way, is something I highly recommend.
