👇 Drop a comment below 👇 and let us know what you're eating first when you get to Chicago!
The "s" is silent in Illinois.
Whenever i went back to visit my hometown, i ate lou malnati, portillos, ann sather and garretts popcorn
growing up in Elmwood Park 50s-60s. we went to Johnnies on North Ave. for Italian Beef/pepper and egg/italian ice.Armand's on Grand Ave for pizza. Russells/Marsh's for BBQ and Gene&Judes in River Grove for THEE best Vienna Beef Dogs anywhere…
You Guys must try merguez with French Fries.
Chicago is amazing 🙏
For your own safety, do not ask for ketchup for your hotdog.
Whenever I'm in Chicago I never miss an opportunity to go to Al's beef on North Taylor Street in Little Italy. But it's never been my experience that the people working there are as friendly as they seem in this video. They always seem to me to be kind of miserable.
Diversirty is what make the US great!
As a former Chicagoan, I can confirm this list is spot-on, but you absolutely HAVE to get a Chicago-style hot dog – no ketchup allowed! Enjoy the deliciousness that is Chicago!
Chicago really knows how to do food right! Adding that dipped Italian beef from Al's #1 to my list alongside everything else.
For deep dish or stuffed, go to unos or dues before Lou’s. Also you forgot Kumas Corner. I also prefer portillos beef over Al’s
You forgot Vito and Nick's tavern style pizza (what real Chicago natives eat), Frontera grill run by the best chef in the world Rick Bayless, and superdawg for the iconic Chicago style hotdog
Popcorn at Walmart department store.
I can live there for the food.
Hamburgers, fries, sugary sodas, pizzas, dogs and other less healthy foods may cause inflammation, a key player in the formation of artery-clogging plaque. Eating foods such as red meat and sugary treats may trigger inflammation, raising your risk of cardiovascular disease.
As a Chicago native, I'm glad to see a spotlight on these delicious must-tries, but don't forget the Italian beef – dipped, of course! A trip to Al's #1 Italian Beef on Taylor Street is always worth it.
Thank you very much.
This guy can’t say sausage lol
Great video.👍
Very informative
I recommend Valois on the south side.
It's a snake in Illinois. Sss. That's real
Illinoise
Is genes&judes too far out of Chicago to put on the list?
You sound like you would order Al’s Italian beef dry.
Yoy really put this out miss pronunciating jibarito and asada so you didn't proof read what you wrote carny as do what is that I've lived in Chicago my whole life and you mispronunciating the words is total disrespect to the culture your trying to showcase..unless your just stupid and don't understand vowel sounds .. embarrassing you live jn the suburbs and mommy got you this job
👍👍
Portillos beef is way better than Al’s.
BS ON CHICAGO WATER
Did you just pronounce the s in Illinois?
Yeah as you're waiting for your foot outside you might be having to Dodge a few bullets
TikTok is for dummies Ran by the Chinese government hopefully we're going to get rid of that app soon
Those are good choices but there were so many that were missed. I wonder why nobody includes moody's in Chicago the burger place it's been around forever with their giant onion rings.. And famous outdoor garden. Or Tweet on Sheridan Road ..fantastic often organic comfort food.
"illinoise"… "shaushage" … bro take a speech class
Tf is a deep dish pizza ?
😂 yeah
Ok
Cool
❤ yeah
If you are coming to Chicago and want to get a reservation at Alinea, start trying seven or eight months ahead.
Did he say “Illi-noise”? 1:34
Personally I prefer Uno's deep dish over Malnati's and Mr Beef over Al's.
I love the freaking food omg Chicago treated my stomach well❤
Can't even pronouce the State correctly, this is made by outsiders. Deep dish pizza, and don't mention Pizzeria Uno???
