I am born and raised in San Diego and I urge people to never go downtown unless it's the little Italy area that area is pleasant but downtown San Diego is a mammoth Mecca for chaotic homeless people absolutely everywhere but if you are along the water's edge that's a little bit better in that area but not too much and then Old Town has changed in the last couple of years it's gone downhill I would highly Not recommend going to Old Town anymore It used to be a good place to go to but I also work there for a long time and every tourist would complain about how bad the restaurants were and they truly are bad over there. I would recommend Coronado, I would recommend Shelter Island, and then the other places she recommended are good 👌🏼🌟🌟🌟☺️☺️☺️
I LIVE IN LA JOLLA IM PRETTY SURE THAT BEACH IS TOURMALINE
Part2 🤔
Barrio Logan > Old Town
Del Mar > La Jolla
Pacific Beach + Mission Beach > Downtown
Can’t beat Balboa Park or Point Loma though.
Rancho Bernardo leads to hidden gems. ELFIN Forest is truly lovely.
Visit the beautiful town of "Julian" in beautiful mountains of East County San Diego, off I-8. Adorable mountainside Town tucked away near Ramona which is also lovely. Food, shops, museum & festivals are worthy of the visit. The drive alone is so relaxing going through the mountains, passing meadows, a country store on a corner with Nuts, fruit s, bird houses & etc., truly a nice drive. 👌
