  1. Best city in the US! Don't forget – there is also Lyft, Uber, Waymo etc if you don't have a car and don't want to take muni(which is thorough and awesome). Bring a sweater! Visit the mission and the Haight! Don't be scared of the tenderloin – it's 3 square blocks and people are more focused on getting high than messing with tourists. 6th street between market and Howard is the real dangerous area.

  2. So THAT'S where the Musee Mechanique went! You can also call City Guides for free, well-narrated walking tours. In Chinatown look for restaurants that don't look fancy. The more it looks like a laundromat, the better the food will be — as one cookbook author (can't remember her name) says, "How much decor can you eat?" Remember to walk up Stockton Street as well as Grant. For a portable snack, look into the fortune cookie bakeries. A big bag of imperfect cookies costs next to nothing.

  3. Going to alcatraz, golden gate, mostly. Only have 2 days then drviing to monterey. Trying to decide to stay by airport and use travel tonget to those places. Vs renting a vehicle those 2 days. Or to stay like around fishermans. Which lodging is more expensive. I need to stay some where the most economical but with visiting those areas. Or do i stay by airport and just drive. I do have a hotel booked now that offers free parking, not far from fisherman. But i we dont drive to places, then were paying $100 day for a rental car were not using. Really appreciate your videos. Thanks

  4. Last week I finally walked the Golden Gate Bridge. It was definitely an amazing experience. We parked at Battery Park for free and walked all the way down. I am finding your videos very helpful.

  5. Personally, I’ve found there to be an amazing selection of affordable things to do in SF if you time things right. I’ve stayed in multiple hotels around Union square (basic, but perfectly nice) for under $120/ night, and the all day muni app pass for $5.70 (no cable car) is a no brainer for me. I always leave my car parked at either San Bruno or Dublin/ Pleasanton BART station depending where I’m coming from, and take BART into the city.

  6. I'm wondering if Coit Tower with its wonderful WPA painted wall frescos from the Great Depression is still open. In addition to a great view the frescos depict life at work in the 1930's. Not to be missed. During the
McCarthy era Coit Tower was closed, but it opened again in the 1960's.

  7. Did she just say I'm sure you heard the rumor that San Francisco is expensive? Really?🤔 it's not a rumor it's a fact. Re Damn diculous!😅 However thanks for the information 👍🏾.

  8. If You Live Anywhere Near San Francisco Than You Don’t Have To Book A Hotel Room At All And The Distance Between San Francisco And The Rest Of The Bay Area Is Close Enough For A Day Trip Where Overnight Stays Is Not Needed
