Come along with me as I explore the coolest things to do around San Francisco’s Fisherman’s Wharf. In my travel guide, I highlight the best San Francisco tourist attractions in this waterfront district, including the historic Ghirardelli Square, our famous sea lions, and a few hidden gems you may otherwise miss.
As a San Francisco resident who has called this amazing city my home on and off for more than two decades, I get the chance to visit this district often.

Love your videos! Helping me plan our Memorial Day weekend trip to SF. Thanks!
A must see for me is the US sub, recall being on her 30 years ago
One of the best cheap dates is to take the Blue and Gold commuter ferry right past the Golden Gate bridge to Sausalito and explore the former artist community there. Walk up Hyde street or ride the cable car and stop at Lombard street which is the second most twisty street in San Francisco. Don't forget Umbrella alley across Jefferson street from In N Out Burger. The ferris wheel (Sky Star Wheel) on Jefferson and The Embarcadero. Catch one of the vintage street cars to the ferry building where inside you will find restaurants, food stores, book stores.
Clam chowder in a sourdough bowl. 😋
I've lived in San Francisco for 30+ years and I haven't been down to explore the wharf but maybe once or twice in all that time. Overdue for a visit.
When I take people to the wharf, I always show them The Fishermen's and Seamen's Memorial Chapel. It's kinda out of the way and a lot less "touristy" than what much of the wharf has evolved into.
Great roundup!! I'll be sure to check these out when I visit next!
Thank you for this informative video.😊
