Little Kids LOVE the Cave Store. It is good for them for exposing them to educational stuff. Stairs are not an issue or saftey issue. I remember when I was a kid at age 5 and my parents took me on vacation. Now I just moved to Chula Vista.
I found the Coronado Dunes by accident when I was perusing Google Earth!
Enjoyed and subscribed!
The stairs to tue cave in La Jolla was originally dug for smuggling in the 19th century and continued to he used by smugglers into the 1930s.
The S.S. Monte Carlo was a WW1 Liberty ship which was sold as suplus after the war ended. The Irish Mafia bought it, anvhored it 2 miles off shore of San Diego (so that it was just outside U.S. law). During prohibition they turned it into a speakeasy, casino, and bordello.
There is actually three hidden swings but two are taken down right now
my hidden gem: la jolla heights natural park off Encelia drive. Absolutely breathtaking views probably similar to what Dr. Seuss once saw… for absolutely free.
Loved this…would love to see a part 2!
LOVED this video BERN! NEED more videos LIKE THIS please and with COURTNEY
Thanks Bernie know I went on one or 2 of those bridges. I'm actually afraid of heights.,so no bueno. I didn't know about Coranado. The cave in La Jolla looks familiar, except for the price. Please do more of these as San Diego has so much to see.
