For you tourists looking into renting a car, NEVER EVER leave anything in the car. Take all valuables with you, backpacks, purses, laptops, etc. Your car will get broken into.
I'm a bay area local but I don't live in sanfransico but China town is really cool and most museums
Haley, Nice ❤ I will visit San_Francisco
you're so pretty
An amazingly accurate take on the City. I lived in SF for 25 years, now returning after 15 years in France. I was looking for a little bump to encourage my return, and this was it. Haley calls it right, the good and the challenging. Bravo.
Muni only serves SF while BART serves the entire Bay Area (mostly East Bay)
The Mission. The best Mexican food!
Hey girl you sure is Fine!
Frisco is acceptable and there’s been a lot of study into this. San Fran however is unacceptable and sends a tingle down the spine of these who hear it. Turns out most people around the US are calling it San Fran. YIKES. There’s about nothing cringier
I’m coming from London, uk. What’s the tip situation? I have to do it? And is it 15% on top of the bill and then tax ? Is the Tax 7.8%??
Coming in November I’m excited 😩🔥
All I see is white people. How about if you’re a black person visiting
huh , should have mentioned “ Crissy Field “ and or The Marina . . 👏 👏 . . 🍺 🍺
San Francisco is hilarious because it’s cold inside the house, and I have to go outside to warm up.
If you want to drive down the 'crookedest street,' skip the line at Lombard and instead head over to Vermont Street on Potrero Hill. It only has six bends (Lombard has eight), but you won't have to wait in line, and there are other McKinley park on the hill is right next to the crooked part of Vernmont St, and worth a visit.
It’s Frisco!
IDK if homeless are "visible through out the entire city". That seems odd. It's mostly West Downtown. Financial district is super clean but you might find one or two. Then there's some tents on Embarcadero. SoMa has some homeless. Almost never see them in Mission Bay. I might find one or two on Broadway in N Beach. Otherwise I rarely see them in The Fillmore, Russian Hill, Cow Hollow, The Castro, Hayes Valley, Alta Vista, Divisadero. You might find a couple in Haight Ashbury near the homeless housing facility and you can find homeless wandering around The Mission near the housing there. You'll prob. never see them in Noe Valley, Presidio, West Portal, Sunset, etc. I wouldn't even suggest they're threatening, it's just life when rent is high in any tourist destination around the world. It's just such a stigma that I think people try to put on the city that feels sensationalist considering the 99% of the news coverage is focused in 5% of the land area in The Tenderloin.
i am coming to san francisco can you take me a tour?
Not mentioned is just like Alcatraz Muir Woods and Yosemite takes planning depending what time of the year you go, you may need reservations a year in advance.
Can you give me any other neighborhoods to avoid?
Being nude is NOT LEGAL anymore fyi
2:25 duude, this is so amazing. I don't care about the actual thing, but about the mentality behind allowing this level of freedom
I’m going to San Francisco this Friday, thanks for the infos !
Extreme high crime rates entered the chat 😂
Other things not widely known are:
Republicans are prohibited from being out in public after dark.
Republicans are prohibited from being within 500 yards of a school
Republicans must register with the sheriff within 1 hour of entering the city
Republicans are not allowed to own property, guns or computers.
Where's a good place to see local live music (in the next two weeks)?
Great video! I’ll be there for a week in early October! So psyched!
Don't bring children. Don't bring a car. Be sure to bring boots that you want to throw away after you leave.
Is it a good idea to rent a car? If yes, what’s the parking cost? Traveling with a 2 year old baby.
I visited with my wife in 2016 I found San Francisco fascinating, lived it it was like another world compared to where I'm from (the UK) homelessness is a huge problem though, such a shame, it could be the most amazing place in the world if the government cleaned it up.
It ain't Frisco?… Ask Messy Marv, RBL, IMP, Nickatina and other SuckaFree City legends…Love how these "locals" don't know their own history and why "Frisco" isn't accepted.
Got to appreciate some Halisica'
Love to visit soon❤
Got to be the most honest and most accurate clip about SF
Good gawd. You have convinced every freak in the country to come to FRISCO. I know that tweaks you, I grew up in Oakland and know. The city leaders have turned the place into a dump, that only appeals to freaks, thugs and drug addicts. So good luck surviving long enough to double your age there.
Charlie Mackenzie and Harriet in San Francisco
So I Married an Axed Murder in San Francisco movie
Thanks for this Haley. I’m going to SFO in a month. I’m not renting a car, that’s for sure!
Will 5 day trip will be enough to explore? How much does the hotel and food cost ?😊
I lived in the Bay Area for a decade. Here’s my tip. Drive west across the Bay Bridge, skip downtown, but go to the Palace of Fine Arts, then Chrissy Field beach. Then go North across the Golden Gate Bridge. Exit immediately and go to the Marin Headlands NP. Next come back through the tunnel Eastbound to Sausalito. If you have an extra day, do a walk around Angel Island and then watch the sunset from Mt. Tamalpais. I would not waste even 30 min in the heart of downtown SF. Not worth the risk of your car windows being smashed.
Step 1, don't go. Then no other steps needed.
