As a Floridian, I’ve actually been to fort De Soto, but please be careful. I also know a lot of people died from rip currents there so just make sure to stay away from certain parts of the area and be safe.
Clearwater Beach doesn’t make the top five? It has a giant playground and an ice cream shop on every corner! Plus a beautiful beach with easy sand and bathrooms.
Also, honeymoon Island in Dunedin is a pet friendly beach as well. Not that great of a beach lots of rocks and I think it’s a state park? But still great for the dogs and it’s huge.
Thank you for sharing this! We are going to South Palm Beach in November for my wife’s PhD graduation. I want to visit a few places. You helped me decide which places to go ❤
The ones without alligators are best. 😅
Gulf Coast, 100%, for little ones. Smaller waves (usually)
Hallandale Beach Florida and Hollywood Beach Florida.❤
Pass a grille is a great beach too!

I have been to fort de Soto and it soon pretty but,the water is VERY salty
I like Siesta Key.
Pensacola Fla
I can’t believe I’ve been to none
Northerners suck
Anna Maria Island all the way south to Siesta Key are the best beaches in Florida!! I've lived on both coats & love the West Coast the most! 👍✌️🥰🥰
