you did post the one a month ago about everything you need to know about solo travelling, but i'd love to know (safety wise) how you find going to shows at night solo, or even just being out and about at night in general – have people left you alone, or noticed that you were by yourself and started talking to you? i know it'll all depend on where you are and who's around, but yeah just wondered if you've been left in solace

I loved Alcatraz! Visited there August 2025 with my daughter. It took about 3 hours to walk around the island and inside the facility. We booked it on Alcatraz island ticket website. It included the ferry ride to and from and a self-guided tour of the facility. We were given headphones for the audio tour. Hope you get to visit again!

Also, yes, try to avoid the tenderloin if you are by yourself. I was walking up Larkin to go to a work meeting, and I I had to step off the sidewalk because it was covered with a pool of blood.

The Tenderloin is the first place i ever got to experience how different men and women experience the world and I definitely understand where youre coming from here. There is so much catcalling and disrespect there, and unfortunately it affects the other amazing people who live in that neighborhood. However, I would never recommend a female friend go there alone and I definitely agree with how you felt about the area
